Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Application-Level Artificial Intelligence Audio Testing Expert. The expert will design, execute, and refine test plans for AI-powered audio applications, including speech recognition, audio generation, and audio-based user interfaces. Day-to-day work includes creating test cases, running manual and automated tests, analyzing audio outputs for quality and accuracy, and documenting results and issues. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, data science, and product teams to define quality standards, diagnose defects, and propose improvements to audio models and application logic. The expert will also help build testing frameworks, develop evaluation metrics, and contribute to best practices for audio-focused AI quality assurance.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of audio processing, speech technologies, and application-level testing of AI systems.
* Experience designing test plans, test cases, and evaluation methodologies for audio or multimedia applications.
* Familiarity with tools and frameworks for audio analysis, automated testing, and logging of test results.
* Ability to review and interpret audio outputs for clarity, accuracy, latency, and user experience considerations.
* Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly as they relate to audio models and deployment.
* Proficiency with scripting or programming languages commonly used in testing or data analysis (e.g., Python).
* Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and reproducibility.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment and managing multiple testing priorities.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
* Background in user experience evaluation, accessibility considerations, or multilingual audio testing is a plus.
