Aphrodite Winter Cash Cup 2024

Dates: 14th - 15th December 2024

Time: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Location: Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy, Cyprus

Courts: 4 Clay Courts with lighting (if necessary)

Level Requirements: Intermediate and above (~3.0 NTRP +). At the organizer's discretion

Tournament Format

• Singles: 14th December. Limited to 32 players
• Doubles: 15th December. Limited to 32 teams (64 players)
• Draw Type: Compass Draw. A compass draw allows players to continue competing in a new bracket even if they lose, with the brackets labeled like points on a compass (e.g., East, West). Winners and runners-up are divided into respective brackets after each match.
• Game Rules: Each game consists of 2 sets to 4 games. At 3/3, a tie-break to 7 will be played. If the set score is 1/1, a super tie-break to 10 will decide the match. Final games: full best of 3 sets.
• Final Matches: Umpire and Line Judges will officiate.
• Spectators: Allowed free of charge.

Prizes

Trophies and Cash Prizes: Awarded to Winners and Runners-Up in both Singles and Doubles categories. Cash amounts to be decided.

Entry Information

Fees:

• Singles: €50 per person
• Doubles: €50 per person
• Both Singles & Doubles: €80 per person (€40 per event)

Acceptance: At the organizer's discretion, confirmation by email or phone.

Payment: Entries are secured only upon receipt of payment.

Refund Policy: After December 1st, the fee is non-refundable without a valid reason (illness confirmed by a doctor's note)

In the event of bad weather, the tournament will be rescheduled to the next available dates in January at the Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy. We will provide as much advance notice as possible of any date changes.
