A true ground-breaker, the original Aural Exciter was highly regardedfor its ability to increase and enhance presence, brightness, andvibrancy on vocal and instrumental tracks alike. It was even credited asa "session player" on best-selling albums by the likes of JacksonBrowne, Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor, engineered by Val Garay, whoworked closely with us on the development of the plugin. Big mistake as I see it, but to each their own. I have and use both.
I don't think any of these three: Aphex vintage Aural Exciter, Vitamin and Cobolt Saphira; are that similar. At least I don't use them interchangeably in such a way.
