Apache NetBeans Snap Package

Two days after Apache NetBeans 11.1 released, let's look at how our Snap packaged convenience binary is doing.

Apache NetBeans as Snap package has been installed on more than eleven thousand devices since activates on 30th of December, 2018.

The majority of our users of course still on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. Most of the Snap users already got their 11.1 with the automatic update. The users, who do not wish to deal with the upgrade at the moment, can easily revert this upgrade using:

sudo snap revert netbeans
