This is part of my problem with the revival; Lorelai is supposed to be almost 50 years old and it feels like she’s never aged past a certain point. I like that she’s quick-witted, but they needed to balance that out because it does start to feel really immature. Lorelai seems to get more immature the older I get. I typically find Brit annoying however I remember I was listening to one episode and Brit said something incredibly valuable and Ashley dismissed it. Ever since then I have seen Brit in a totally different light. Normally I think brits comments are really empty and only exist to attempt to emphasize a point or concept. But this particular instance Brit said something incredibly insightful that. Re4 was from 2004, escort missions were kind of a big "thing" to complain about the way we do microtransactions or dlc; it was an issue no one really liked. Ashley isn't even particularly annoying as far as escort missions go, but to many she's the literal poster girl for annoying escorts. So I didn't really mind that, since it's fairly accurate based on the scenario. In factI thought it was endearing, lol.
