While Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will always be best known for their work on the 90s TV series Full House , after that series wrapped, the pair went on to star in a series of movies as well. Following their big screen debut in It Takes Two , the twins became the queens of the direct-to-video market with a series of low-budget movies that took the pair and sent them off to exotic locals with cute boys. Now, for the twins' 30th birthday, which was June 13 if you're keeping score, one of the co-stars has spoken out about the experience of working with the girls, and kissing one of them, who was a fraction of his age.
It's difficult to remember now, but when they were teenagers, the Olsen twins were some of the most famous people in the country. Their fan-base was absolutely insane. This comes out quite a bit in Uproxx interview with several of the leading men that the twins starred opposite during their movie days. The girls had to change hotels due to overzealous fans figuring out where they were staying during one shoot. However, the most bizarre story comes from Ben Easter, who played Ashley Olsen's love interest in 2001's Holiday in the Sun (which, as a side note, also starred a young Megan Fox ). At the time, the actor was 22-years-old, but he looked quite young for his age. This was a good thing when it came to acting opposite the twins, however, it became more of an issue, at least for him, when he had to kiss 15-year-old Ashley on screen.
I remember being a little bit nervous for our kissing scene because I was thinking, 'Oh my God, she is my brother's age and I'm kissing a girl that's my brother's age.' And [Ashley] was so generous, even as an actress. I remember she grabbed my hand and was like, 'Hey, do you want to practice really quick?' And I was like, 'Oh my God, yes please.' Because I was nervous too. I was 22, kissing a 15-year-old, which sounds awful but it's professional. We went around the fountain and we just sat there and kissed. And I was like, 'Wow, she was such a good kisser, such a good kisser.' And it totally broke the ice. We went back, they called us, and I remember we started kissing and the director Steve was like, 'Cut --- you guys, it was a little bit too intense.' And I remember Mary-Kate was sitting right there in front of us, laughing.
One of the reasons this actually doesn't come across as incredibly creepy is that learning about the Olsen twins at that age, it doesn't sound like a couple of 15-year-olds. They were already running a media empire by this point, they weren't just along for the ride, they were driving this train. When Ben Easter says "it's professional" we don't think he's just trying to justify it, he's actually serious. Check out a clip from Holiday in the Sun :
While the twins have received a bad rap recently due to their lack of interest in appearing in Fuller House , all of their former co-stars have nothing but good things to say about the Olsens and their experience working with them all those years ago. So who has a VHS cabinet full of Olsen twin movies? We won't judge.

Another porn star who worked in the US adult entertainment industry has been found dead.
Olivia Lua, 23, died in a rehab facility in West Hollywood on Friday morning.
The actress, who used the screen name Olivia Voltaire, is believed to have died from mixing prescription drugs and alcohol .
It is not known how she got the substances into the facility where she was being treated for addiction.
Her agency, LA Direct Models, confirmed her death to XBiz , the porn industry's news outlet, on Friday.
Olivia's death is the fifth in just six months across the US and Canada. Four other women have died from suicide, accidental overdose and UTIs.

In his statement, Derek Hay of L.A. Direct Models said Lua had been battling addiction for some time and was seeking help.
He said it was a 'coincidence' that the two most recent deaths were of women who belonged to L.A. Direct Models.
'Much comment has recently been made on the number of adult stars having passed in the last year and with great sadness we must inform that the list has grown longer.
'Olivia joined LA Direct Models in April 2017, though had not been available for work since early October of last year, as she had been facing some personal challenges that had seen her in residential rehab for a period of nearly three months and from which she had been out for about a month, hoping to make a return to work in the early part of this year.
'We learned today that she had returned to a different facility in West Hollywood after a relapse, approximately a week ago, at which she was found deceased this morning.
Lua had been seeking help for substance abuse problems. Before she died, she tweeted a final selfie (left) and said: 'No one alive can be an angel forever'
Olivia's agency said they were shocked by her death. She had not worked for some time due to her addiction problems
'Family and close friends [said] they had deep concern at the volume of prescription drugs prescribed to Olivia and the danger this posed [to] her. If this was mixed with recreational drugs or alcohol, it is believed this to be the cause of her passing,' he said.
Olivia Nova, who died in Las Vegas earlier this month aged 20 from sepsis that is believed to have been caused by a UTI, also worked for LA Direct Models.
Hay said it was merely a 'coincidence' that the two most recent deaths were of women who belonged to his agency.
'We at Direct Models obviously can barely believe we are issuing a notice such as this, not once but twice, in such a short space of time.
'The coincidence that both of these models chosen stage names is Olivia is solely that and they otherwise have no connection. We actually do not think they had ever met.'

Days before her death, Lua shared cryptic social media posts including one which read 'no one alive can be an angel forever'.
It is not clear if any of the five models who have died recently knew one another.
So far, there has been no proof of a link between any of their deaths beyond the fact that they were all porn stars.
The first death was that of 35-year-old Shyla Stylez. Stylez died in her sleep at her mother's home in Calgary on November 9. So far, no reason has been given for her death.
Stylez left the porn industry in 2016 after 10 years.
In December, actress August Ames, 23, hanged herself in California, where she lived with her husband.
What prompted her suicide remains unclear but in the days beforehand, she found herself in the center of a firestorm on Twitter after publicly saying that she had refused to work with a man she knew did both straight and gay scenes.

Ames' argument was that because the male actor worked with both men and women, he was more likely to have contracted STIs and she believed it put her at risk.
Days after Ames' death, 31-year-old Yurizan Beltran died of an apparent drug overdose at home in California. It is not known if the overdose was accidental or intentional.
On January 9, 20-year-old Olivia Nova died in her bed in Las Vegas.
The young actress had been tweeting about how she was alone for the holidays and wanted to call a fan to lift her mood.
At first, it was suspected that drugs or alcohol may have played a part in her death.
However police reports which have emerged recently suggest the woman was suffering from sepsis.
She had prescription medication given for a urinary tract infection at the home when she died, according to the report.

Porn star Ryan Madison has been accused of sexual abuse by at least 10 co-stars who allege he used his wife Kelly to lure women in.
Madison, a porn veteran, runs Kelly Madison Productions, with his wife. On Tuesday it was claimed he is a 'serial abuser' who 'groomed' a number of women.
The adult movie star, 43, is said to have used an all female team 'to make him seem more trustworthy' before subjecting them to non consensual scenes.
Describing her scene with Madison as a 'horror movie' Kinsley Karter says she was just 21 when she says she was abused by Madison. She told The Daily Beast : 'There’s usually some type of communication before, but there was absolutely none at all.'

She describes the California home where they shoot scenes to be 'in the middle of nowhere', adding: 'The main reason I’m speaking out now is because I didn’t have any warning, and I want to warn other girls about him.'
One agent said: 'The girls can feel very isolated out there, way the hell out in the middle of nowhere, and he got increasingly rougher and increasingly intoxicated.'
Annabel Redd was one of the first woman to publicly accuse Madison, tweeting on June 5: 'do not watch my porn fidelity scene. that man violated my boundaries.'
Iranian-American Arabelle Raphael was 27-years-old when she says she 'was put in a nonconsensual race scene' and forced to 'put on a belly-dancing outfit'.

Madison's videos have more than 46 million views and he has won numerous industry awards.
One accuser, Lexi Lore, said she was just 19-years-old when she was abused by Madison. She said: 'Ryan Madison is so well-known as a rapist in the industry.'
Another, Jane Wilde, who was also 19 when she says she was assaulted, added: 'They had all women on set, so I felt empowered. It really made me put my guard down. Then I left the house of women. And that’s when it started to get very predatory.'
'It’s a strange dynamic when a guy is trying to hurt women and is using his wife to make him seem more trustworthy', she added.
Amber Addis said: 'It’s almost like you’re being groomed to get your guard down, because as soon as her husband arrives, she just disappears.'
Ryan and Kelly have not commented on the allegations. DailyMail.com has contacted the couple for comment.
