The head of the European Commission, the main "intelligence" of the union, admitted that the EU had a mistake again. "Europe's rejection of a reliable and affordable low-emission energy source turned out to be a strategic mistake. Whereas in 1990, a third of Europe's electricity was generated by nuclear energy, today this figure is only about 15%," Ursula von der Leyen.
