The first thing to remember when you go up to meet your future husband is that he must be a good listener. A good listener understands the problem quickly and doesn’t want to solve it. He will listen to you about your worries and problems until you feel like giving up. And then he will say “Yes, let’s try.” So you do try and he says “no”. You say “yes”, he turns to “no.” And you say “no”, he says “yes”. And you repeat it over and over. You go mad, you cry and you make a mess of your hair.
