Anne Hathaway heated up the streets of New York today - as she headed out to celebrate the July 4 holiday in a daring sheer dress.
The 29-year-old actress slipped into a Bohemian-inspired floor-length shirt dress, which was split to the thigh.
Anne celebrated American Independence day by attending a backyard party along with fiance Adam Shulman.
Naughty but nice: Anne Hathaway headed out in New York today in a sheer blue dress which showed off her newly-trim figure
She teamed her blue ensemble with a floppy hat and shades and had a black support on her wrist following her recent injury.
Later in the day she changed into another floor-length dress, but her second offering of the day - a floral print number - left a little more to the imagination.
She was spotted with Adam and her brother Michael as they walked around the Brooklyn neighbourhood.

Not seen was her husband Adam Shulman.
The pinup sparkled in a little black sequin while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon .
Golden girl: Kelly Bensimon looked svelte in a beige top and metallic heels as well as black leggings
He does denim good: Peter Facinelli wore jeans for the event as well as a white shirt
Two cute they are: Jill Hennessy and Paolo Mastropietro were arm in arm
The Oscar-winning actress showed her lean frame in the short-sleeved black dress with matching nylons and heels.
Anne had her short black hair down and accentuated her natural beauty with just a hint of makeup.
She was greeted warmly by the crowd and raised both her arms in appreciation.

Jimmy also was welcoming Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, 45, to the show with A Great Big World and rapper Futuristic set to perform the song Hold Each Other.
Anne has been making the rounds promoting her new movie The Intern co-starring 72-year-old Hollywood legend Robert De Niro.
She earlier talked up the film during a sit-down at the AOL Build Presents The Intern at AOL Studios in New York.
Oscar winner: The actress has been busy promoting her new movie The Intern
Hands up: Anne raised her arms in appreciation after a warm welcome from the audience
Anne spoke about the comedy alongside director and writer Nancy Meyers, 65, who previously helmed the 2000 box office hit What Women Want.
The Devil Wears Prada star made sure to make her mark on the venue as she signed the wall with a big smile on her face as many celebrity visitors do at the Big Apple AOL studios.
It seemed to be a stark difference than her co-star De Niro's highly-publicised encounter with a journalist on Monday.
Fan favourite: Jimmy Fallon introduced Anne to the studio audience
The Raging Bull star was accused of being 'condescending' by Radio Times writer Emma Brockes after he took offence at her questions and became embroiled in a heated exchange.
He then walked out after telling her 'I'm not doing this, darling.'
The Oscar-winning actor apparently did not like it when Brockes asked him how he resisted the temptation to go into 'autopilot' on set, and was seemingly irked again when she suggested the Tribeca district of New York, where De Niro co-founded a film festival, had been taken over by bankers.
Star power: Anne certainly brought some glamour to the chat show
Good times: Jimmy and Anne enjoyed a laugh during their interview
The Intern also stars Rene Russo, Andrew Rannells, Anders Holm, Adam DeVine, JoJo Kushner and Christina Scherer.
It was set for release on Friday in the US followed by its release in the UK on October 2.
The film follows Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro), a 70-year-old widower who’s discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, so he takes on a senior internship at an online fashion site founded and run by Jules Ostin (Anne).
It's a comedy: Robert De Niro and Anne are shown in a recent poster for The Intern

Anne Hathaway has been slaying the red carpet ahead of the "WeCrashed" premiere.
Since the '90s, Hathaway has shown us her bold personal style.
She loves a bright color, different textures, and interesting accessories.

At one of her first red carpet appearances, the 1999 Billboard Music Awards, Anne Hathaway wore a patterned white silk skirt with an exaggerated fringe hem.

A few years later, in June 2002 at the MTV Movie Awards, she let the back of this slinky black dress speak for itself.

Hathaway stunned in this magenta gown with a thigh-high slit at the 2003 Golden Globes.

As was trendy in the early 2000s, Hathaway rocked the dress-over-jeans look for the premiere of "Ella Enchanted" in March 2004.

There's much to say about Hathaway's 2005 Tony Awards look.

In October 2006, Hathaway opted for a simpler look: a black gown with a large cutout on the back.

One month later in November, Hathaway wore a white dress with a sheer panel up the side of her leg.

Hathaway's 2007 Oscars dress featured an oversized velvet bow in front.

For the premiere of "Rachel Getting Married" at the Venice Film Festival in September 2008, the star wore this high-low mint gown with multicolored flowers.

At a January 2009 red carpet, Hathaway chose a tiered beige gown with black feathers and, of course, fringe.

For the 2011 Golden Globes, the "Bride Wars" actress opted for a sequined backless gown with shoulder pads.

At a "Dark Knight Rises" premiere in July 2012, Hathaway wore this white peplum gown with a deep V neckline.

At the world premiere of "Les Misérables" in December 2012, Hathaway stunned in this backless cold shoulder gown.

This "Les Mis" premiere look is all about the shoes.

Hathaway wore this tea-length sequined gown fit for a princess at the SAG Awards in January 2013.

Much has been said about the front of Hathaway's 2013 Oscars dress, but we can't get enough of the back.

At the 2013 Met Gala, Hathaway bleached her hair and rocked this black gown with strategically placed sheer panels.

She donned a seemingly mismatched dress for an "Interstellar" premiere in November 2014.

One year later, in September 2015, she wore this black one-shoulder asymmetrical gown for the premiere of "The Intern."

For another "Intern" screening that month, Hathaway rocked a patterned skirt with sheer paneling.

At Vanity Fair's Oscar party in February 2016, Hathaway looked beautiful in this black gown with a golden patterned overlay.

Hathaway opted for this bold, white, knee-length dress at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
