Anna Torv is thirty-one. She's from Australia (where she is much more famous). She's done a lot of theater, a few TV shows. We mostly know her from the creepy Fox show Fringe as FBI agent Olivia Dunham, whom she plays as both hard-ass and naïf, fearless and innocent, aware that evil lurks but always surprised to find it. The classic combinations. Torv has a sense of humor, too. And it turns out she's wise. Which is why we'll just let her speak for herself. Here, some essential wisdom from a charming woman. Sometimes there will be a line in the script and I just can't imagine saying it. I'll ask an American and they'll say, "Oh, yeah. That's how we say it." We just say things differently in Australia — like torch. I'd ask, "Can I have the torch?" It seems to fall flat when I say, "Can I have the flashlight?"
I don't go to clubs or places where people go to be picked up. But if I'm out, I usually sit at the bar.
If someone carries your bag out in Australia, it's like a favor. I always feel sick when I forget to tip the guy carrying it here.
It's a hard concept to get used to: If I pay you more, you do it better.
I just can't bear to swallow Vegemite, and I don't know how people do it. It's revolting. If you want to try something from Australia, go with Tim Tams. They're sweet chocolate biscuits.
Depth. I want somebody who's gonna need me.
I'm terrible at practical jokes. I do them too well, so they're not funny. I end up saying, "Oh, no, I'm joking, I'm joking... ."
I didn't know much about video games. There are some awfully violent ones. But Heavenly Sword is different. I've had huge conversations with a friend who made it. I think what he wants to do is to make the player care. Yes, there's killing. But the character I play in Heavenly Sword, Nariko, is ultimately protecting her family and this runaway girl. It's a beautiful game. It's beyond a video game. The landscape is to protect and to care. My friend is working toward a world where you get an emotion out of the people who are playing it. See if you can make them cry if they couldn't save the people who they were trying to protect. This isn't Pac-Man.
It doesn't necessarily matter what your answer is to the question: What is art? So long as you have one.
A friend of mine says his two favorite artists are Picasso and Rembrandt. Picasso because he paints the beautiful in such an ugly fashion. And Rembrandt because he paints the ugly so beautifully.
I don't feel like I've hit my stride. So I wonder what the moment will be when I get to be who I want to be.

There appears to be no end in sight for this celeb photo leak which has targeted everyone from Jennifer Lawrence to Kim Kardashian to Kate Upton . More pics and videos were released in the last 48 hours as the hacker(s) responsible continue their onslaught on Hollywood’s elite. Photos of Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick made their way to reddit and 4Chan late Friday night and Saturday. The photos are not as scandalous as previous leaks, though, it’s still a gross invasion of privacy. Model Cara Develigne was also victimized in the latest wave.
Reddit and 4Chan were quick to delete most of the images but as we all know, once something hits the web, it’s there forever. Even worse, hackers are promising more photos on October 1st.
If you recall, it was Anna Kendrick who joked about the celeb leaks earlier this month.
So who knows if this was a targeted leak or something that was previously planned. Either way, it’s not going to stop. The genesis of these leaks aren’t popular sites like reddit and 4chan. They’re in much seedier part of the internet, parts of the internet that are masked from 99% of users. I’m talking about the chat rooms and IRC’s that are password protected, chat rooms where links and info are shared nonstop. Even if you take away those, there’s still the deep web and well, you don’t want to know what happens there.

The actress also puts on a flirty display elsewhere as she has co-star Kelsey Grammer literally eating out of the palm of her hand during an intimate dinner.

In one scene, Anna, who plays Grace Gordon, unwinds in the bath, with just bubbles helping to maintain her modesty.
In another clip, the actress shows off her curves in a plunging green gown before heading to a dinner date with Fraser star Kelsey, who plays a Southern congressman.
The story follows Grace Gordon, who has returned home following the sudden death of her father, and finds her life immediately changed from privileged to penniless.
Realising that women in 1960s America have very little power, in a bid to change the law she reaches out to the Southern congressman after meeting him at her father's funeral.

Speaking of the film, producer Richard T Lewis explained: 'Charming the Heart of Men is a story of the dawning awareness of the central character during the dawning awareness of a nation.
'Many of the issues faced in 1964 are the same issues the world is dealing with today.'
The new trailer comes after after Anna shared a sweet clip of her daughter Gracie blowing out her candles on her 16th birthday as she doted that her birth was the 'best day of my life'.
The Marcella star posted the heartwarming video to Instagram, which saw Gracie beaming from ear to ear.

Captioning the post, she wrote: 'Yesterday, 16 years ago, was without question the best day of my life because I was given the honour of becoming your mother Gracie.
'We were lucky enough to be in the mountains with our family. Gracie You are the kindest and most delightful human being I have ever encountered.
'I am so proud of who you are and what you stand for. Keep doing what you are doing and life will continue to shower you with wonder. You are my heart. I love you. Happy happy sweet 16th my beautiful, always, Mama.'
Anna shares her daughter Gracie with her ex-partner and actor David Thewlis, 58, who is now married to his French partner Hermine.
The former couple first met in 2001 on a flight to Cannes and, despite Anna's endometriosis diagnosis in the same year, they welcomed Gracie in 2005. They announced their separation in December 2010.
