Anna Kendrick is looking at the positives following the recent hacking of her nude photos.
The 'Pitch Perfect' star — whose naked pictures were posted online by hackers earlier this year alongside other stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton — is glad the episode encouraged people not to blame those who were victims.
She said: ''I'm happy that it seems like more people are coming around. Because it happened en masse in that way, it forced people to come around and go, 'Everybody does this and victim-blaming is not helping.'
''Because before that, there was a lot of, ''If you didn't want naked photos of yourself on the Internet, well, you shouldn't have taken them.''
The 29-year-old actress has admitted that even her friends had changed their views, after realising how many celebrities had their personal photographs hacked.
She explained to The Daily Beast: ''So, the one and only good thing that came out of it is that it really shifted the conversation.
''Friends of mine that had taken the other attitude were like, 'People should be able to do whatever they want, and it's (expletive) up that that happened to them.' That's the lone positive that came out of that whole thing.''

Anna Kendrick is reportedly among the slew of celebrities affected by the second wave of hacked photos leaked throughout the internet after Apple’s iCloud was compromised a few weeks ago. From what I’ve heard, all of Kendrick’s (hacked) pictures are nothing to be excited about. She has confessed to being a paranoid, which probably explains why you won’t find any naked pictures of her online.
To be honest, I never found Anna to be the type who would take naked selfies either. I mean, she seems like the kind of girl who’s funny, sweet, and smart, but certainly not the type who would dare pose naked in front of the lens. Would you agree?
Speaking of the darling, Anna was spotted looking rather casual and at ease while out and about in Los Angeles early last week. Take note, this was amidst the photo leak scandal.
The red-haired beauty’s off-duty style for the day included a simple striped red shirt and straight-cut jeans folded at the bottom. It was the kind of outfit a typical Jane would wear — nothing fancy — but the standout extras she used sure made a difference.
Anna finished the mix with a gold cuff bracelet, some cool eyewear, a must-have Proenza Schouler PS11 shoulder bag, and gold detailed flat thong sandals that looked casual but expensive.
