She was born on October 31, 1955 in the village of Rakivchyk, Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1971–1975 she studied at the music and pedagogical department of the Kolomyia Pedagogical School, in 1975–1979 - at the music and pedagogical faculty of the Ivano-Frankivsk State Pedagogical Institute named after Vasyl Stefanyk, majoring in Music and Singing, and qualified as a Teacher of Music and Singing.

Lecturer (since 1990), Associate Professor (1998), Professor (2012) of the Department of Choral Conducting named after Vasyl Izhak, Head of the Department of Academic and Variety Singing (2014–2016), Professor of the Department of Music Education and Conducting (since 2016) Vasyl Precarpathian National University Stefanica. Professional activity includes academic disciplines: "Choral conducting", "Methods of analysis of choral works", "Choral literature", "History of vocal and choral performance", special course "Musical culture of the Ukrainian diaspora". Manages diploma and master's theses. She has graduated twenty masters of musicology, supervises doctoral and candidate dissertations. She has defended five PhD theses. He deals with the problems of musical culture of the Ukrainian Western Diaspora. Participant of many international and national scientific conferences. Author of more than 330 musicological, local lore monographs, collections, dictionaries and articles.

Artistic director and conductor of the folk amateur choir "Pervotsvit" of the People's House of Mykytyntsi of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council (1991–2020), church choirs of the parish of St. Vladimir and Olga (1996-2001) and Archangel Michael (2007-2020) of the UGCC in Ivano-Frankivsk, performs in Ivano-Frankivsk and the region, cities of Ukraine. Organizer of public meetings with Ukrainian artists abroad, initiator and co-chair of the organizing committee of International Scientific Conferences. Author of the creative idea and director of the sports and art festival "Nika" (1999-2020), the ceremony of honoring the leaders of economic progress "Triumph" (2004-2006), cultural and artistic project "Mother embroidered my shirt" (2004-2008). Initiator, member of the organizing committee and jury of the I-VI All-Ukrainian competitions of young vocalists named after Ira Malanyuk (2007-2018). Initiator and author of the city "Program of support and development of Ukrainian culture in Ivano-Frankivsk for the period 2001-2005"; regional complex program "Culture of Prykarpattia (2002-2005)". She was awarded many honors.
