Well, here’s an odd Thursday-evening anecdote! Maureen Dowd wrote an item for The New York Times Magazine remembering late super-agent Sue Mengers, who once represented starlets like Ali MacGraw and Barbra Streisand but eventually became known for her starry parties and get-togethers, through which she befriended younger Hollywood stars like Jon Hamm and Jennifer Aniston. Dowd herself was a guest at some of these fêtes, and of one, she writes, “After Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie, Mengers told me that she advised her beloved Jen to ask Brad for some of his sperm.” Maureen Dowd, the editors from Star and the National Enquirer are surely giving you the slow clap this week. You crazy for this one!

In her new movie, The Switch, Jennifer Aniston plays a wannabe mother who undergoes artificial insemination, using what she believes is the perfect donor's sperm, to get pregnant.
And when it comes to off screen it seems Aniston would allow life to imitate art, insisting that if she ever went that route she too would definitely 'wanna know the guy'.
Aniston revealed her preference during an appearance on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, last night in Los Angeles.
Looking good: Jennifer Aniston looked amazing on last night's Today Show with Jay  Leno
The 41-year-old was on the show to promote The Switch as well as talk about her new perfume, Jennifer Aniston.
She also dished on her worst job ever from which she got fired - being a bike messenger in New York City,  and her favourite food - three cheese thin-crust pizza, with shiitake mushrooms and peperoni.
Aniston explained that she follows a very strict regiment when it comes to maintaining her flawless figure, and claimed that whenever she eats a slice of pizza she immediately runs a lap!
Lovely legs: Aniston showcased her perfect pins in a short charcoal grey dress
The Friends star has been showing off the results of her vigorous workout regime and restricted diet a lot lately.
She recently posed topless for an ad campaign for her new fragrance and last night she displayed legs that went on for ever, wearing a short, charcoal grey dress.
Aniston also talked about how she overcame her fear of flying, quipping that she 'Judy Garlanded my way through the whole flight.'
In The Switch, Aniston plays singleton Kassie who is desperate to have a baby. Ignoring the objections of her best friend, Wally (played by Jason Bateman) she decides to go it alone.
Kassie chooses a handsome and charming donor but before she can complete the act of insemination, unbeknown to her, a drunk Wally swaps the sperm for his own.
Promotion: Aniston is on a promotional tour for her new movie The Switch and for her fragrance, Jennifer Aniston
Aniston has talked about her desire to be a mother one day, telling Entertainment Weekly 'I'm on the verge of it in some way...it's something I long for.'
But when it comes to how the single star plans on accomplishing her dream, she's keeping decidedly mum.
Leno asked Aniston if she would ever take a page from The Switch and 'just go down the bank' to get pregnant?
'Jeeze that question has never been asked to me,' she deadpanned. 'You go to the bank and you have a card...I honestly don't know exactly.'
Fine form: Aniston looks in amazing shape in the ads for her new perfume

Diane Sawyer was apparently perfectly happy for her image to be used in Jason Bateman 's masturbation scene.
At the beginning of the final barbecue scene, Wally is seen using a gas grill, as evident by the burner knobs. After walking in the house, he speaks of charcoal and lighter fluid, which are completely unnecessary when using a gas grill.

I think critics have been conditioned to think that any movie with Jennifer Aniston in it these days has to suck. I happily declare that this one doesn't. It has a likable romance. The dialogue is actually funny (especially anything that comes out of Jeff Goldblum's mouth). Based on the premise - which comes off much less implausible than it probably should - I was expecting a lot more lowbrow comedy and was pleasantly surprised. And Jason Bateman is a wonderful and underrated leading man. The voice-overs are perhaps a bit insipid and probably could have been skipped entirely, but that's a minor complaint. I enjoyed the film. 7 out of 10.

Wally Mars : Look at us. Running around, always rushed, always late. I guess that's why they call it the human race. What we crave most in this world is connection. For some people it happens at first site. It's when you know, you know. It's fate working its magic. And that's great for them. They get to live in a pop song; ride the express train. But that's not the way it really works. For the rest of us it's a bit less romantic. It's complicated and it's messy. It's about horrible timing and fumbled opportunities. And not being able to say what you need to say when you need to say it. At least, that's the way it was for me.

The Jennifer Aniston Movie Scene That Got Cut For Going Way Too Far

By   Patrick Phillips / Updated: July 15, 2020 10:44 am EDT
Jennifer Aniston has undoubtedly had one of the most enviable careers in Hollywood. The actress rose to the ranks of America's Sweetheart virtually overnight after scoring the role of Rachel Green on one of the most beloved sitcoms in television history, and rode that wave to staggering celebrity over the course of Friends ' decade-long run on NBC. Aniston has spent much of her post- Friends career   trying to prove to the Hollywood establishment she's far more than just the sum of  Friends ' 235 episodes . And she's experienced some legit success in that endeavor.
Since Friends wrapped in 2004, Aniston has delivered a string of soul-stirring performances in indie hits like  The Good Girl  (opposite Jake Gyllenhaal ),  Friends with Money  (starring Frances McDormand and Catherine Keener), and  Cake (which earned her a Best Actress Golden Globe nomination). She's also fronted a couple of blockbuster rom-coms in 2004's Along Came Polly and 2006's  The Break-Up , and recently charmed audiences in Netflix's coming-of-age comedy  Dumplin' .
Along the way, the actress shocked even her biggest fans when she went full raunch for 2011's black comedy film  Horrible Bosses . Aniston appeared alongside Jason Bateman , Jason Sudekis, Jamie Foxx, Charlie Day, Colin Farrell, and more as Dr. Julia Harris — the sexually aggressive boss who tormented Day's dental assistant character Dale Arbus with a relentless wave of inappropriate actions and comments. Certainly, Aniston's performance as Julia was a standout.
So good was Aniston in the role that she returned for the film's unexpected sequel,  Horrible Bosses 2 . But, as it happens, audiences were supposed to see a bit more of Aniston in the film. One scene from  Horrible Bosses 2  was so provocative that it was ultimately removed from the film altogether.
While promoting  Horrible Bosses 2 on Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show in 2014, Aniston revealed the details of the cut scene. Per Aniston's candid (and hilariously fumbling) explanation, the biggest problem with the scrapped scene was that Day's character wasn't conscious while her character was,  ahem , getting frisky with him.
If you'll recall, Dale is shot near the end of  Horrible Bosses 2 and ends up in a days-long coma. Dale wakes to find that he and his compatriots, Bateman's Nick Hendricks and Sudeikis' Kurt Buckman, have again narrowly escaped jail time. He also learns that Julia had been lurking about during his time in hospital, and she eventually admits to taking advantage of him while he was comatose. Julia's admission made the final cut of Horrible Bosses 2 , but scene depicting the act didn't — though we now know that it was actually filmed.
While describing the scene to O'Brien, Aniston made it pretty clear that the non-consensual nature of the act is what led to the scene being left on cutting room floor. And that's for the best. Even if the world in 2014 may have touch more forgiving of such a scene, it's still awfully hard to imagine anyone laughing at such vile behavior then or now. Including the scene in  Horrible Bosses 2  may also have tainted Aniston's screen legacy as well — even if it's very much in the unseemly spirit of the film from which it was cut.
Aniston is anything but a one-trick actress — as evidenced by her keen ability to play everything from the initially naïve and spoiled Rachel Green on  Friends to a slew of different rom-com leads to the nuanced Sarah "Rose" O'Reilly in We're the Millers  to the former beauty queen Rosie Dickson in  Dumplin' to, of course, Dr. Julia Harris in the  Horrible Bosses movies. She's been in showbiz for 30 years now (even longer if you count her uncredited role as a dancer in McDonald's in 1988's  Mac and Me ), and she has yet to box herself into being typecast to one particular kind of role.
This means that Aniston may not circle back to portraying an over-the-top, capital-R raunchy character in the future — which means that there probably won't be scenes in which Aniston's character goes way too far. It seems that experience was an isolated one, reserved for the  Horrible Bosses flicks. Never say never, of course, but it seems that Aniston is focusing her time and creative effort on projects that truly speak to her.
Since 2019, Aniston has starred on and executive produced the Apple TV+ series  The Morning Show .
