Loved it! A disagreement with her husband, Angus, sent Melissa stomping off into the woods. Hours later, after combing the forest, Angus and his search party came home to find blood on the ground and no sign of Melissa. When she finally did turn up, she was bruised and had no memory of the past five years. And so, everyone tiptoed around Melissa, not wanting to cause her more pain, but hoping that her memories would soon return. Poor Angus, to be so in love with someone who did not remember him, and not permitted to declare himself. Meanwhile, danger lurked in the shadows. This story is extremely well constructed. There are subtle hints and misdirections scattered throughout a tale wherein an unknown danger threatens; and a previous bond of love is tested. It is an emotional piece filled with everything from angry heated remarks to hot and heavy love scenes. Not only will this book engage your heart and stir your emotions, but it will keep your mental wheels turning as you attempt to discover the mysterious villian. You don’t want to miss this one!
This was an intriguing romance story with a different premise-The main female character, Melissa, is married and after a disagreement with her husband, she ends up in the woods with no memory of the past 5 years. She is taken to her sister's castle and she has some memories but doesn't fully recognize Angus. He needs to win her back and hope her memory returns. But strange things are happening and trying to catch the culprit is proving difficult and who can Melissa trust? It is sweet how Angus tries to woo her to fall in love with him again or bring back her memory. She develops feelings for him and just hopes there is no one waiting for her as a husband or betrothed. I found this to be an intriguing romance about a husband trying to win his wife back-from the grips of amnesia. And there is a villain hiding in plain sight.
This story is packed with so much excitement happening ,murder plots, disappearances, that is will keep captivated throughout. On top of that a couples love so strong even loosing her memories she still loves him. A compassionate, loving storyline to make you feel warm, and fuzzy. Melissa Quinn and Angus had been together several years before they married. Totally in love living in there cottage away from her sister in the castle. Something happens to her and she looses her memories. The hunt begins to find out who did this to her. She does not remember her husband or what happened. A Romantic Tale. To find your True Love not only once, but to fall in llove the second time. Does it better that that ?
I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy medieval Scottish Highlander romance with great characters, romance and intrigue. The storyline waa very different. She was happily married, but stormed into the woods after an argument with her husband. She got lost, but returned to an empty, until someone chased er. She fell and hit her head. Wen she awoke, her memory of the last five years was gone. There was a lot of romance as her husband tried to win her again. There was lots of intrigue, but the perpetrator was finally apprehended. The ending was great and I enjoyed the Epilogue. I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy.
Angus and Melissa are in love. Someone injured. Melissa and she lost her memory but people have died and she is threatened There is suspense and everyone is trying to find the culprit.The characters are determined and courageous and of course a sweet ending This is a good author and I enjoy her books
Loved the characters. I interesting plot of memory loss of Melissa's & recovery steps with (unreserved) husband Angus. What fun to fall in love all over! Don't forget the danger that keeps following them! Great read to try & put down!
This was a good book. I enjoyed the story of Melissa and Angus and the wrong doing of Simon. All came out good.
I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting and kept me questing who did it. I couldn’t put it down.
This book is a great read, it has commitment passion patience and enduring love. This is such a good storyline and the characters are so well described that you can see them in your mind. Angus such a devoted husband caring for his wife's loss of memory that he is patient with her whilst still trying to find out who is responsible for her attack which caused it. Definitely recommend this book, very intriguing

A lovely story of Melissa and Angus, a great storyline with some great characters. I have read a few of Lydia Kendall’s book and they have not disappointed me, she is an excellent author

A Highland romance and mystery
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and this one was even better. I loved the characters and the challenges they faced throughout. The plot was really engaging and I stayed up late to finish. I am hoping there is a next instalment for Felix.
This book keeps you on you on your toes! Will she remember him? Fated love will always connect it's partner no matter the distance or circumstances. He never gave up on her and she continued to explore her desire for him. Good read for all.
