Australia's most successful adult film star has revealed how her parents reacted when she told them she wanted to work in porn and why she can't buy zucchinis.
Angela White said that her family found it 'tough' when she told them she was going into the porn industry which she was attracted to since the age of 14.
'I was never shunned by my family, I was never rejected by my family, but my mum particularly was worried when I told her,' she told Denton.

The 33-year-old opened up to Andrew Denton on Channel 7's Interview about her life when she's not on a porn set.
White said that her family never rejected her for choosing to do this with her life, but it was 'tough for them at the start'.
She said that these worries came from the stereotypes that surround the porn industry.
Although her mother voiced concerns, White's father was a little less vocal about how he felt.
'When I told him he didn't really have much of a reaction,' she said.
'Maybe he had an inkling that it was what I was gonna do, or maybe knew he wouldn’t be able to stop me anyway if he had reacted negatively.’
During high school, White said that she was known for expressing and exploring her sexuality.
So when she finally went into porn, it wasn't a huge surprise for anyone that she went to school with.

White also revealed in the interview that she prefers to go about her day with little attention
'People in my high school were not surprised at all when I started doing porn,' she said.
White also revealed in the interview that although she works in a job where she is completely naked on camera, she prefers to go about her day with little attention.
‘I’m actually really shy off camera. It’s kind of a double-edged sword,’ the porn star laughed.
‘I don’t really want that much attention in public. I just want to do my grocery shopping without someone looking at me weirdly when I’m looking at the zucchinis, because I really am just wanting to make food at home, and I’m not doing anything crazy with them.’
The 33-year-old has an honours degree in gender studies and has written a thesis on women in the porn industry.
She also produces, directs and stars in her own videos, believing they can be a force for good.

One of Australia's most famous porn stars has opened up about how she strives to keep her sets ethical.
Angela White says the adult film industry 'can do better' and has added producer to her list of credentials to help create a safer workplace for performers.
The 33-year-old opened up to Andrew Denton on Channel 7's Interview about what can be done to protect porn actors and actresses looking to have a career in the adult film industry.

'Well I think our industry can always do better to protect the performers in it,' she told Denton.

'A set where people are fed, where they feel comfortable, where they feel warm,' she said.
She also said that what happens on camera is never done without consent.
White says that all sex acts are negotiated before they are performed in order to ensure everyone is comfortable.
Performers are able to opt-out of a scene should they begin to feel uneasy - even if previous consent was granted.
'At any point they can withdraw their consent for any act that they previously said they were willing to do,' she said.
White is an award-winning adult film star, winning several industry awards for her work.
