Dungeons and Monster Girls Wikia is a FANDOM Games Community.
Servants of god with beautiful white wings revered by the Order of the Chief God. They dwell in Heaven, and rarely visit human settlements as messengers of god. Aside from that, it is said that they sometimes accompany the church on monster slaying expeditions. Since they faithfully uphold the teachings of god, they're abstemious, and extremely negative towards human desire and monsters. For that reason, they're merciful, with a fundamental distaste for fighting, yet they will still make an effort to mete out punishment in the name of god.

They were not originally monsters, but those who've been violated by the succubus' energy and have started to seek human men are treated as monsters. Angels have innate divine protection. Due to this, they have resistance to demonic energy, and they don't completely change into a succubus. The horn and tails normally seen in succubi will not grow, but their mind becomes warped after being thoroughly violated by succubus energy. The god they serve, and the god's teachings... everything in their head grows vague, and they become positive towards human desires and monsters. Because of the succubus' instinct that desires human men, they'll end up frequently visiting human settlements.

The original role of angels was to reward humans with happiness for good performing good deeds, but once they receive a succubus' energy, they're imprinted with the notion that feeling pleasure is the ultimate happiness for human men, and they'll attack and have sex with a human man who strikes their fancy in order to make him happy. They treat the humans they target with extreme devotion, but like other monsters, it's half one-sided, and they won't take no for an answer. Once they obtain a human man and have sex with him, their mental conversion into a succubus progresses at once. Their recognition of god and her teachings that had barely remained will be pushed out by their feelings for their beloved man, which will occupy a majority of their mind.

They have a duty to make people happy, and when they first realise that they could use their own body to make men happy, they experience shock and joy. And then, they'll offer their chastity to the man they love as if they had completely forgotten the teachings of god that regard lasciviousness as bad, and purity as virtue, and they'll try to make their man really happy by moving their hips lewdly like a succubus.

They aren't aware of their own sexual desire. They believe that the only reason they're having sex with a man is to please him. But, for whatever reason, when they realise they do seek pleasure themselves, their mind has already changed into something obscene, and they badly desire to have sex with the male body, they completely change into a succubus, and transform into a "dark angel".

Being revered by the Order, Angels are rarely alone. Some more powerful ones, called "Archangels" for their age and favor with the Chief God may act alone. But the majority of Angels will be supported by one or more human combatants serving under the Order faction, Valkyries, or other Angels.

Being smaller and meeker than most humans and Valkyries, it is natural that they are adept divine spellcasters. In combat, they will try to utilize the following spells:

As is obvious from the list above, their primary role is to support more melee-ish combatants, and Angels will generally stay away from direct melee combat.

‘Haibane Renmei’ is not your everyday angel anime with lots of sexy female angels with very few clothing materials on them. It is a dark psychological mystery which revolves around special kinds of beings who resemble our notion of angels. It showcases their lives in the village they are born and the mysteries surrounding their kind. Old Home is a village where special beings having a small halo on their head and wings on their back are born from cocoons. They are called Haibane. A young Haibane is born and she has no memories of her past or any idea about where she is. Because of her dream of falling she gets the name Rekka. In Old Home, there are certain strict rules which a Haibane needs to follow. They must not leave the village or go near the walls surrounding it. These rules along with disappearing of Haibanes on the “Day of Flight” unsettle Rekka and others of her kind. Will they be able to solve the mysteries surrounding them and finally achieve salvation?

The rest of the series follows the main characters trying to uncover the mystery surrounding the Angeloids.
‘Angel Beats’ is one of the most popular anime in this genre. The anime has a total of 13 episodes with each episode being 24 minutes in length. ‘Angel Beats’ follows the life or rather the afterlife of Otonashi Yuzuru. The only thing he can remember about himself is his name. A girl by the name of Yuri is the one who eases his coming to the afterlife. She bears a rifle and tells him that it is the afterlife and she is the leader of the group by the name Shinda Sekai Sensen. The purpose of the group is to wage wars against the evil girl by the name of Tenshi. But Otonashi feels a certain doubt about the evilness of Tenshi and decides to talk to her. The encounter does not go the way he thought it would and he decides to join the SSS and fulfill their goal. But still, he finds himself being drawn to Tenshi. He needs to understand these feelings and unravel the truth about her while trying to figure out his past and the afterlife.
Let’s now talk about one of the most popular harem, ecchi anime having the supernatural themes of angels and demons, ‘High School DxD’. Look, if you are looking for anime having lots of substance then probably ‘High School DxD’ is not for you. It is for people who love watching busty female angels and demons and is satisfied with a loose plot structure. This anime is just for fun and entertainment and if you are looking for a break from some serious stuff go for it. Issei Hyoudou, the protagonist of the anime, is a huge pervert and along with his friends spends time looking at hot girls. He has always wanted a girlfriend, so when a girl asks him out he instantly agrees. After the end of a beautiful date, the girl reveals herself to be a fallen angel who has come to kill Issei and she does. But Issei is reincarnated as a devil by the beautiful Rias Gremory, a senior at Issei’s school and also a top devil, who makes him her slave. Now, a devil, Issei must learn to harness his powers to be able to survive in this supernatural world.
‘Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis’ has one of the scariest and most humongous monsters in anime, Bahamut. Bahamut is a dragon who brings forth destruction and wreaks havoc in the land of Mistarcia which is a place where Gods, demons, and humans live together. But they cannot get rid of the beast single-handedly. So, they decide to team up and manage to barely seal the monster and decide to split the key three ways so as to ensure the safety of the world should one of the faction goes berserk. That incident is in the past now and things are quite peaceful and people like Favaro Leone, a bounty hunter, just have fun and care for their own needs. He is on the run from another bounty hunter by the name of Kaisar Lidfard who has sworn to catch him. But Favaro’s carefree life is about to come to a halt when he meets a girl by the name of Amira. It seems that she holds one half of the key to releasing Bahamut. Soon, the trio finds themselves being drawn into the battle between the Gods and Demons while trying to make their own path and save the world from destruction at the hands of the monster.
