I had issues with a more expensive Logitech in my lighting conditions, that even an Lumecube Panel couldn't fix (see darker image). This Angetube works great, my bright photo shown is without the ring light even on. Skin color rending is still good with the light on as well. Excellent product for the price point.

Fixed my Logitech Issues

I rarely write reviews anymore, but wow, this is an impressive product. I've got the latest gen MacBook Air, and the webcam is absolute trash. As a professor who is now teaching from home (which is a pretty dark lower level apartment), I wanted an upgraded version with a light so I didn't have to set up my makeup mirror behind my laptop. I just got the camera in today so this is based on my first impression, but WOW. No installation required -- just plug it into the computer, turn the light on, and open up Zoom. The quality is great and the light gets pretty dang bright! I'll update if anything changes, but as of right now, I couldn't be happier. (For fellow MacBook Air users, make sure to get a cheap little USB converter!)

With it's clear picture, quick-tap ring light, easy setup and positioning, AND compatibility with OBS software, Angetube has built a solid streaming webcam. I was initially looking for something both reasonable in price (<$100) with features comparable to more expensive cams (e.g. Logi/Razer) for my gaming stream. The ring light is good for low-light rooms, and the auto-focus is surprisingly adept. I cannot speak for the built-in microphone, as I always use a headset mic. The adjustable mount gets a lot of tweaking, but has yet to show any signs of wear. I highly recommend this webcam to anyone looking to start streaming on a budget without sacrificing quality. After several months of use, it continues to impress.

Camera works with other apps, just does not work with Skype on Windows 10. After spending time troubleshooting, the issue seems to be Skype. I made sure I had the latest version of Skype. I made sure Skype was the only application that was supposed to use it. Then I opened it up to other apps. It did not work with Skype app in any scenario I tried. I am using GTX 960 video card with AMD Ryzen 5 1600. All my drivers are up to date. It does work with Zoom and other apps. And it does work with Skype over the internet, just not as the app.

garbage quality reference in photo. Better off getting the $18 cheapo like the one in the center photo. This was tested in low lighting. It has a weird yellow tint to it that I can't seem to color correct with OBS

terrible quality

I have bought many streaming cameras over the years and I have to say this gets a 9/10. The autofocus could use a little but for the it's good quality and the Mic is good. Make sure you're in a room with no sounds or activity it will pic it up.

What a great little Webcam

I purchased this webcam in desperation during the Coronavirus pandemic to communicate with my ageing parents (88). I had ordered a Logitech 922 from another site, but it didn't look like it was going to arrive, so in desperation, I ordered this webcam which was the only one I could find available on Amazon. It was cheaper than the Logitech and I really wasn't expecting much in the way of quality. The name LOGITUBO wasn't one I had heard of before. But wow, what a webcam. It produces a super quality HD pictures, good colour tones out the box and it is very good in low light (even with the LED light turned off). The 3 brightness options of the LED ring light is great if you want to use this webcam in the dark or in low light. I'm running Windows 10 and it works well with the downloaded version Skype for Windows (apparently it has issues with the version from the Microsoft Store or pre-installed versions. You get a card explaining this in the box). The Logitech 922 arrived eventually and I have run these cameras side by side. The Logitech, although £30 more expensive isn't a touch on this LOGITUBO Webcam. I can highly recommend this webcam. Excellent value for money, well made with super HD picture quality.

Waste of money. Do not buy.

I feel guilty for wasting the delivery driver's time by ordering this. This camera is atrocious! It's obviously a knock - off of the Razer Kiyo, and a cheaply made one at that. The build quality just generally feels poor. The picture quality is fairly decent, but that is this camera's only saving grace. The biggest problem is that there is not enough resistance in any of the joints on the mount. You simply cannot position the camera to point the way you want it to, unless you happen to need the camera collapsed and pointing at the ceiling. Completely useless! The head of the camera is constantly being pulled in random directions by the weight of its own cable! The auto focus isn't great either. I would have been disappointed if I had paid £20 for this. At this amount, it's way over - priced. I will definitely be asking for a refund. Don't waste your money on this! Also, the ring light is duller than a Boris Johnson cameo in Emmerdale.

Pleasantly surprised

Bought during the lockdown as an alternative to the poor integrated webcam in my laptop. It looks similar to the Ryzen Kiyo but much lower cost, albeit this is only 30fps. However as that camera wasn’t available I went for this Worked straight out of the box and is impressive quality for its cost and size. Feels well made too. The ring light hasn’t been needed much so far as the camera seems to cope well with relatively low light levels. It’s a bit blinding when you turn it on (by touching the camera) especially at the third and highest setting.

Poor for the money

I bought this to use on Facebook Messenger video calling to replace a 720p Logitech camera that was a few years old. I should have known I was in for trouble when I found that most of the literature which accompanies this thing relates to troubleshooting and FAQs. It is also written in Chinglish here and there and in a font size only visible to a kestrel. It's a neat little design but the halo light is a bit of a gimmick. It might help if you were broadcasting from a coal mine but in normal use, it seems to do very little. My Windows 10 recognised and installed it but the quality from the Camera app was poor. In the background of my room are some French doors so the light behind me changes all the time. This camera doesn't seem to like that and is worse than the outgoing 720p Logitech. Of course, you can tweak the camera settings in the app but that is of little use when you use Facebook Messenger as the tweaks all get lost and the output is pretty dire. I tested it on a FB video call and the person I was calling said that I looked as if I'd been spray-painted grey. The changing light from the doors behind me really upset it too. Even with the thick curtains drawn and the weather overcast outside, the camera output was as if a thermo-nuclear explosion had gone off down the road. It will be returned.

Pixellated and bleached out image, disappointing

I purchased this to replace my ancient Logitech Quickcam, vintage 2005 with a low for today 640p resolution. I also wanted something with a ring so I didn't have to worry about lighting. As you can see from the results, it's pretty poor for 2021. The image is pixellated with a distinctly unpleasant moire pattern on an ordinary striped shirt. I didn't have the ring light on, and in fairly low lighting the image was both bleached out, and somehow failed to capture details you can see on my old camera of half its resolution. The instructions claim it has a manual focus ring but I certainly couldn't find it - nothing around the camera edge moves as far as I can tell. It claims "background replacement" on the box which is an outright lie - a quick look at the manual tells you to purchase "Premium VIP Membership of Personify", a separate piece of software you can use on any webcam for the sum of $25 per year. Background replacement is NOT included. Pretty disappointing. I'm amazed this has so many good reviews.
