This thread is a place to post incremental type games on android. I'll be posting a couple below, with market links.
Please don't post the cookie clicker knockoffs, the official Cookie Clicker for android from Orteil has not been released yet, per this post . I'll try to update here when that changes.
Not sure if this counts, but I enjoy it, so...
In this game you are the leader of a fictional settlement. You build an economic cycle from building materials over food production to metall processing and weapon production. Keep in mind the consumption and production amounts of all materials. Goal of the game is to build one of all building types in the shortest time possible, to reach a high rank in the highscore list. On every start the game calculates how many resources are produced in the meantime.
I really like this game and have been slightly addicted recently.
Hack Ex I can't believe nobody has posted this yet. This game is awesome. Slow to start, but once you get into it, really fun.
"You are the executioner! Carry out your bloody duties alone at first, until you've earned enough to buy new buildings and upgrades to increase the speed and efficiency of your brutal profession! 8 different buildings, 70 different upgrades! Tap rare Lightning Coins for huge bonuses! 'Reset' the game with a high score for Legacy bonuses!""
Why does this app needs to know who i am calling?
I had a lot of fun with this one. My main issue is that there is a repeatable bug where, after you've made good progress, your bonus gets reset if it gets too high (a bit over 8000). This is a bummer and the main reason that I stopped playing it.
Kitty Cat Clicker - For those who thought the Internet couldn't do with any more cats, this game is gonna prove you wrong. Joke aside, this is a clicker type game we've just released on Android and is soon going to be available on the App Store and on the Amazon Appstore as well. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Happy clicking!
Kitty Clicker - This is based on cookie clicker, obviously, but does not steal artwork, pricing, etc, to try to look like cookie clicker. In fact, it even pays homage to Orteil's work in the description of one of the buildings, the Transmutation circle: "Transmutes useless things like cookie(s) into kitties."
Good humor, solid game, updates pretty much daily.
This game starts off great. I liked it enough to buy the non-ad version. The problem with this one, in my opinion, is that it slows down way too much towards the end. You get to a point where the next upgrade takes days and days, and only improves things by a small amount.
Money Clicker - Cookie clicker on slow-mo. I couldn't get into it, because the upgrades provide such a tiny benefit, that even after a half an hour I was still pounding away at the big coin to buy my next upgrade.
I had the same experience. Couldn't get into this one.
Crazy Money Clicker - Tap on coins falling from the top of the screen to build up a boost bar on the left. Each time you fill it, it increases your multiplier. If you are too slow and let the boost bar run out, your multiplier drops back to x1 and you have to start over. Use your money to buy upgrades to your "base" income, and each upgrade slowly changes the background to reflect your power (not going to spoil it, it is pretty cool looking).
Not the type of game you can play while watching TV, because it requires concentration and a bit of skill. Refreshing and original gameplay!
An update on this... a recent update significantly changed the basic gameplay of this game. Now, instead of tons of coins falling and you have to mash as many as you can to keep your multiplier up, you have just one coin at a time falling and you build "combos" by not missing any. The interface also significantly changed, upgrades are now on a separate screen.
I haven't had time to test it out and see how this affects the overall experience.
All of these games have been added to the Ultimate List of Incremental Games .

I have idle oil tycoon, and I think it's fabulous. Any other games that are like that?
Merchant RPG has been lots of fun for me so far.
Looks neat: love the shopkeeper RPG+tycoon theme, the world needs more recetear games :)
I like it, but not the wait times. I guess I'm too impatient.
Tap Tap Infinity is better if you like to idle. Tap Titans is better if you like being active.
Tap Titans for sure. Really polished and has quite a bit of interactivity compared to other incremental games on android.
Tap Tap Infinity is a much better game that doesn't seem like it's trying to nickel and dime you. There's more end game, more skills, more heroes, more everything. I've played both for about a month and Tap Tap Infinity is MUCH better without the constant advertisement popups when you're tapping.
This game seems to be put on a gigantic pedestal. Let's look at it objectively:
-All upgrades do the EXACT SAME THING .
-Bosses can knock out your main source of dps for 12h-24h, forcing you to buy currency with real money if you want to keep playing that day.
In conclusion, all it takes for a game to be put on a gigantic pedestal is eyecandy.
Tap Tap Infinity (Google play link)
I played this for a while, but it's a bit too basic an incremental for my tastes. I like things like AITG over adventure capitalist, even though one might argue the latter is more of a "pure incremental".
Why the negativity? This is my favorite on android!
I started playing a game called money tree a few days back. It's pretty idle friendly. My only complaint is it isn't really innovative. Other than that it's pretty solid.
Do you mean Tree Idle (or Idle Tree,)? Is a pretty nice game.
Sadly not at all idle-able, as everything not actively clicking is slow as hell. Limits everywhere so that you better not earn enough money without clicking... I would love to play the game if things like 90% slowdown on app close aren't that harsh...

Today, we will explore the world of Incremental games and Clicker RPG’s in the iOS and android store. Recently, we compiled our list of the Best Idle Games and we decided that it is best to make a completely different list for Incremental Games as not everyone enjoys Idle Games , but prefer progressive RPG mechanics with little to no “lazy” features that cater to casual gameplay or busy schedules. If you have a bit of time on your hands, you should definitely give these games a try.
Incremental Games , according to Wiki , is a player performing a simple action, usually a click and getting rewarded for it. They are also known as Clicker RPG, Clicker Games or Clicking Games.
If you browse around the App Store lately, you will see the popularity of these games. If you are a casual gamer, these type of games will appeal to you more. The act of “clicking” offers simple, yet effective gameplay for busy people. In certain games, this turns into automation, where your heroes or empire is being built while offline.
Although, there are elements within these incremental games that appeal to a more hardcore player base as they tend to spend in-game to “get good”, this may include PVP, Boss Raiding and Clan Battles.
This is an interesting question and it comes down to psychology. To have “ incremental ” gameplay is to reward players taking a small action and being rewarded endlessly. This “endless” mechanic keeps you wanting to get stronger and stronger, but it doesn’t end. For certain games, it is continuous and infinite.
Idle or as I like to call it: lazy-play, is to play a game without actually playing it. For example, in Idle Mine, you run a mining empire with mangers and workers. In the beginning, you are tapping ( incremental ) for a reward (mining and gold). Eventually, it will turn into an automated mining tycoon ( Idle gameplay ) with an endless amount of gold and rewards being produced.
Let’s talk about the gameplay for a second. For a mobile game to be considered Incremental, it would need a simple action and a reward. Now, this appeals to a wide audience.
If you are a mother with three kids and only need to spend 15-minutes playing an incremental game while spending hours off the game can also lead to rewards – why wouldn’t you? It also helps kids who don’t have to understand confusing RPG mechanics or gameplay.
These games appeal to the pain points of the average and casual gamer – the ones that are busy, who has a job and cannot spend much time gaming. In incremental games , once you launch the game after a busy schedule, you can immediately get back into it without losing any progress.
Imagine if your job was incremental; you get paid to show up for 2 hours, but the rest was automated and idle. But, every time you come back to work, your salry gets raised! Who wouldn’t take that job? I sure would!
Our list is updated regularly, so comment on any idles games that aren’t listed in the comment section.

Playing Idle games on Android is like running in your sleep - it still counts
When you have a full schedule, but you're a gamer at heart and need to play something, you'll want to figure something out to satiate your gaming needs. Idle games on Android are usually the best solution since they let you progress quite effectively even without being active for long periods of time.
You can play several Android idle games at a time, and it could only take minutes to finish all your dailies. There are plenty of types of lazy titles out there, and I am sure there is one for you - no matter if you like to play Android RPGs , tycoon games or whatnot.
Idle games usually fall under 1 of 2 categories. One of those is the true passive one, where you can leave your game untouched for hours, and still gain plenty of progress in the meantime (resources, levels, currency and so on.), and pseudo or the ones that label themselves as idle. The latter would be the clickers and the like, where you progress significantly more by tapping than you would for just being passive. I'm personally not a tremendous fan of those, even though I've played my fair share of them.
If you're not familiar with either, then all you need to know about Android idle games is that they can be quite charming (if you find the right ones for you). So, if you're still seeking, then let me give you a hand! Use the list below to learn what are some of the best idle games for Android that you can download and play right now!
AFK Arena is one of the best Android idle RPGs that you could get your hands on. There are millions of players, keeping it one of the best Android idle games you can play. The best part, however, is that you can choose exactly how you want to play. You'll have steady progress regardless of how much time you spend in-game - be it more active or more on the AFK side.
We've got a bunch of useful AFK Arena tier list and even a list of AFK Arena codes that we keep up-to-date, so make sure to check them out if you'd like to get some more freebies or learn how to get better at it!
Many of you know the Fallout series. What you might not know, however, is that Fallout Shelter is a really, really good Android idle game. The basics of this one are pretty simple: you build your own vault, add more rooms, and populate those rooms with various people. In the meantime, you'll start producing various resources and that's pretty much it.
There are many layers to Fallout Shelter, but at its core, it's just a truly well-made game that's worth playing. You can read more about it in our Fallout Shelter review , where we mention how we were not really impressed with it, but for an idle game it's pretty darn solid.
If you want to play an Android idle game, but still care a lot about the graphics aspect, the character design and the story behind it, Ode to Heroes is a perfect choice. It has a stunning art style, modest progress in terms of resources, and it's easy enough to play while maintaining all the rich aspects of a typical RPG.
There are parts of the game that require you to put some online time, such as acquiring characters, signing up for dungeons, and training, but most of the aspects can be completed by simply being passive.
Although it is not your typical idle game, it still is to some extent. Neko Atsume is super simple (and extremely adorable), and it's something you could play anytime, as long as you have your phone laying around.
The basics are simple: you place down food, and you wait for cats to pop up. Whenever a new cat visits you, it will be added to your collection. If you love cats, don't mind waiting for things to happen and have plenty of spare time, I highly recommend this one.
Almost a Hero is the epitome of an idle game where characters aren't heroes per se, although they actually "are". It doesn't really make sense, does it? Well, it's complicated. The takeaway is that it's an Android idle game worth checking out if you want something unique.
The storyline in Almost a Hero is a fairly simple but fun one, and you'll recruit non-heroes to your team. You'll have full control over the relics, equipment and character evolution, and as long as you keep fighting, you'll eventually turn your normal characters into more or less... heroes.
Girls X Battle 2 is the sequel to Girls X Battle, which is an equally awesome title. In this game, you only have to worry about your hero formation once (when deploying the characters), an
