Android 14 Installation Guidelines for MI 8 Lite

Before you install our Android 14 build on your MI 8 Lite a.k.a platina, please read these guidelines carefully. FYI, our build was tested before we shared it with anyone and can be used as daily driver ROM. So, please take some time to read this.

Clean flash

1. Install the AOSP custom recovery provided in the ROM post
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Wipe cache, data, system partitions
4. Go to install update
5. Select install from sd card and select rom.zip or use adb sideload
6. Flash gapps (optional, no need if ROM already has gapps)
7. Reboot system

Dirty flash

1. Reboot to recovery
2. Go to install update
3. Select install from sd card and select rom.zip or use adb sideload
4. Reboot system
