1. What kind and size of cylinder(s) are used?
2. What kind of lube is recommended?
3. How long do you pump and at what point do you know when to stop?
4. How much pressure is used and what level is safe?
5. Does wet pumping make any difference?
6. What are the pump routines used by various members?
I'm very curious about this.

I use my old cylinder I used to use when I started off pumping which is the 1 and a half inch diameter tube. The lube is mainly for the tube itself so that you can stick it up the rectum past the prostrate to pump it out and prolapse it. I use very light pressure, just enough to get the pink part of the rectum out. The rectum can prolapse after just an hour of light pumping without bleeding. Water pumping only makes the pumping cleaner because the rectum excretes a pink lubricating liquid which is meant to help feces come out of the colon.
Anal pumping for rectal prolapsing takes some preparation in that you must give yourself an enema before pumping. Part of helping the rectum prolapse is to push the rectum out as though you are taking a dump. That with the pump pressure pushes the rectum out for a beautiful rosebutt.
I like prolapsing my rectum over just pumping the outer lips because I like to push it out and suck it in. It is that slippery feeling of something going in and out of my asshole that is pleasureable.
Interesting.... but if I don't want to prolapse, just make the rosebod swollen... will it prolapse anyway due to the vacuum? I have no knowledge about this trying to learn the basics.

Good question, kaw71, just how does someone pump just the asslips to make them bulge without a prolapse? A bulging ass button would be heaven for a rimmer.

In order NOT to prolapse, I just put the vaccuum tube on the outer lips and pump away. Make sure the rectum doesn't come out by doing Kegels which brings the rectum inward.
The outer lips will swell so much that it will close the rectal passage and therefore it cannot come out.
I've done this also to my asshole before I had my first colonoscopy which opened my asshole for the first time.

A Kegel is when you squeeze your rectum muscles just like you are HOLDING IN feces and stopping it from coming out. A reverse Kegel is when you are forcing OUT feces as though you are on the toliet.
Anyway for asslips without prolapsing, just make sure that the tube opening is stuffed with asslip and that there is no gap. Also not too heavy on the pressure because like the cock when pumped too long for too much pressure, you can get water blisters on your asslips. It doesn't take too long for swelling asslips and it is less work than a prolapse.

You say not to go too heavy on the pressure; how does that translate to inches of mercury? Is 4" or 5" too much is 2" to 3" to little? Also, how much time should one pump for the best results?

The Hg level on the gauge should be 3 or 4 because the rectum skin is more sensitive.
Does anyone still do this, and if so any tips on how, would like to know more, so anything people can add would be appreciated, pics too if possible
I believe there are a lot of people that still anal pump but not sure of their methods (I haven't tried it) but from the looks of it, the rosebud with probe cylinder would be best for anal pumping (at least from what i've seen, they all seem to use that type). http://thickwall.co.uk/rosebud.htm
