An award ceremony held for the winners of the "Green Startup Projects Support Program"

An award ceremony for the winners within framework of the project "Development of Green Industrialization in Uzbekistan" under the “Green Startup Projects Support Program”, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance together with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), was held on March 29 of this year.

For information: A few days ago, the final stage of the selection of the best projects was held within the framework of the "Green Startup Projects Support Program".

Within the framework of the program, 6 innovative and green projects were selected and depending on the stage of the startup, grant funds from 20 million to 200 million soums were allocated for the following projects in order to stimulate them:

• 200 million soums for the project "Samsara" wind generator based on renewable energy sources, adapted for installation on motorways, with a capacity of 1-5 kW;

• 60 million soums for the project "Innovative local inverter production", which will be installed for distribution and management of electricity generated by solar panels;
• 60 million soums for the project "Clean Water" aimed at cleaning water bodies damaged by industrial wastewater with innovative plants;
•  60 million soums for the project "Smart Panels" aimed at increasing the efficiency of solar panels by moving them around;

• 60 million soums for the project "Wastewater Treatment", which allows to clean and recycle wastewater from industrial enterprises by using ion exchange glue;
• 20 million soums for the project "Air Quality" to create a device to determine the amount of harmful particles in the air, the volume and composition of greenhouse gases, and air humidity.
