An Official Server For South Africa

Here's an interesting post from a website in Zaire in the hope that Blizzard will ever bring World of Warcraft to South Africa. It's true. We all take it for granted that in North America and Europe, the game is available in a lot of parts of the world it's not. There's certainly a market in a place like South Africa -- Blizzard states that they have between five to seven thousand players down there already (we'd assume they're playing on EU or US servers) which isn't counting any of the players who play on private servers that could be as many as 20,000.

iGame is part of an ISP known as iBurst down there and they're ready to launch an official server (within 24 hours' notice!) If Blizzard agrees, they will. However, Blizzard has informed them that they must have at least 40000 players to operate an official server.

Another option is"peering" servers "peering" server, which apparently does hook up to Blizzard's servers however, it uses local connections and networks to make things a little more efficient. However, Blizzard must agree to this, and it appears that they're hesitant in the moment.

Oceanic realms have had problems for a long time however, at least players in these realms have servers dedicated to them. Is there a different major region in the world without WoW support? South America? SERVERLIST101.COM India?
