The item upgrade system lets players improve the performance of trinkets, armors, and weapons. It also offers some unique effects and special effects.

Growthstones
These items are much like the berries in that they enhance your attributes permanently but unlike berries they increase all your attributes except HP. Growth Stones are obtained by completing some events in the game, or by combining two of them in the Nitro Cube. You can also get them as an incentive during the Ancient Arena Season.
You can apply them to your armor or weapon by accessing the Equipment Enchanting menu. You can also make them in major towns by visiting different NPCs with the right recipe. There are several different types of Growth Materials and each one can be used for various purposes. Weapon Growth Stones can be used to improve weapons, whereas Armor Growth Stones can be used to upgrade armor. Active Skill Growth Books, and Passive Skill Growth Books can be used to improve the skills of passive or active players.
These stones resonate with certain human characteristics inside you, making them stronger. They do not make you a better or more different person, but they do give you an extra boost of energy to confront and tackle whatever aspect of your personality you'd like to change. However, item upgrading is still your responsibility to create any genuine internal change by changing your attitude toward the thing you want to change. Item Enhancers

The player can get Item Enhancers in many ways, including the free rewards of leveling up their Trainer or completing missions and challenges or even from the Energy Reward Machine. The premium version of the game also provides a greater number of Item Enhancers in the form of rewards, however, a lot of players will have to grind for these items.
In addition to the regular Item Enhancers, Pokemon Unite recently introduced a new type of item called Super Item Enhancers. These powerful items will let players increase the level of their Held Items until level 30. However these expensive and rare items are scarce in quantity. Therefore, they must be chosen with care so that a player can level up the item that will be most helpful in their development.
Item Enhancers can be purchased from the Aeos Emporium for 10 Aeos Tickets per item, but they are also available through the free events Pokemon Unite hosts from time to time. These events in-game specials are able to distribute Item Enhancers to mark the achievement of a certain point or provided as part of a challenge that has the duration of a specific time.
Most items increase their stats in a linear way as they upgrade however, the final stats of a held item can be more than double the initial value once it is at its maximum. For example the Muscle Band increases its attack and defense stats by one each time it is upgraded to level 2. However, when it reaches level 20, its stats are +15 attack and +7.5 percent attack speed.
The price of these Item Enhancers is expensive, but they are necessary for anyone who wants to increase their performance in Pokemon Unite. It can be a struggle to upgrade all the Held Items to the maximum level however those who are committed and persevering will eventually be successful.
