We took our 7 year old daughter here for a treat whilst on holiday, we booked “Jessica” the doll in for hair and ears pierced, the staff were great, the set up of the “salon” is pretty cool too. Everything you can imagine for dolls is here - our daughter even got matching dresses! The cashier was great and the only issue is that there isn’t one in Perth! Mind you, I would probably go broke if there was.....my little girl Literally squealed when we walked in. Defiantly worth a visit if your in town!
Visited with 7 and 8 year old girls. The hostess at the cafe sat us promptly at our reservation time. We had three dolls with us and each got a table side seat. Each doll also got a cup and saucer to keep. The napkins were wrapped with a pink hair bow that the girls were allowed to keep. The table has a little box of ‘what if’ type questions to keep the girls entertained while they wait. Maybe not helpful if you have a toddler but my girls had a great time with them. The menu had a wide variety of ‘kid food’ that was priced a little higher than normal kids meals at restaurants but the adult food was very reasonably priced. I got a turkey club for $12.99 and it was HUGE and came with delicious fries. The girls got Mac and cheese for $7.99 that came with a ‘fruit kabob’ that was only two grapes and a piece of melon. But the melon was cut like a heart and they delighted in it. They split a wonderful hot fudge brownie sundae for dessert. The waitresses were attentive with refilling our waters but I’ll admit It was not quite the wonderful experience I had expected. She didn’t really interact with the girls or ask about their dolls- basically she was just like any other waitress which was fine but I guess I was expecting a more kid centered experience. The restaurant is absolutely adorably decorated. We proceeded to shop after eating and the store staff was plentiful and helpful. My daughter lost a shoe from her doll and they radioed all employees to look for it. They took my name and number and did call me later in the day that they had found the shoe.
After reviewing the menu and pricing, I decided the birthday package was the best value and it did not disappoint! My total with tip was under $60 and it included an appetizer and entree of our choice, a cake, and a very generous goodie bag. My daughter went away very happy with the experience and we made some wonderful memories that day. Quality of lunch was excellent and service was outstanding.
We went to the American Girl dolls store at the Florida Mall I think I was more excited than my two daughters. we had booked lunch in the bistro ,it was amazing we had pink lemonade the dolls were able to sit at the table with us too . all the food had little flags stuck into it We also received free bobbins for the kids hair( these were tied around the napkins) My girls spent a crazy amount of money in the shop but it was definitely worth it . It was just under $100 for lunch for 4 . We would love to go back again ☺️
Took our granddaughter Luci there today to pick out her birthday gift. We also took her doll in for a new hairdo and to have her ears pierced! Finished our day with a visit to the Bistro! Well she had a blast, L'ala at the salon was amazing and really treated my granddaughter and her doll with special care! Picked up Samantha and that made my granddaughter very happy. Now let's get to the Bistro! No Air Conditioning!!! The place was uncomfortable at times. The wait for the food is crazy and our server was not the most attentive. Pricey for what you get but they do treat the children and their dolls in a very special way! Would have been nice if some consideration was taken for the sweating older folks!!
We were very disappointed with this American Girl location. PROS: 3rd time eating dinner and having a Tea at Cafe. Although very small, it is only exceptional thing at this location. Always excellent staff, food and prices are inexpensive. Highlight of every trip. CONS: Very small store, lacks any help, except at check out, so small, most items we were looking for were "temporarily out of stock". We saw that sign so many times, my niece who is to small to read, knew what it said. Totally lacking in magical experience you will get at other American Girl locations. My opinion : Skip it if you can make it to another location. Especially the Chicago store!

I loved this, but the end of season 2 was such a cliff hanger! Desperately looking for the rest of the seasons with subtitles….
MSS Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2022
As much as I like this series... this is only the other half of season one (each season has 20 episodes) and there are 5 (or is it 6?) more seasons. I started watching, not realising I had already seen this. :D In any case, RaiPlay has the entire thing (no subtitles, however); if you speak/understand Italian, you can watch the entire series there.

I like the series, but really disappointed that the platform is only showing season 1 and 2 and the series goes on for many more series. When will season 3 and beyond be available?

This is a fun light romantic drama: Milan in the 1950's, fashion, girl from the south through determination and hard work makes good and finds love, boy meets girl loses girl, gets girl loses.... BUT wait! Amazon cuts you off at the knees. Not only are just 2 of the 6 series available, but only a select amount of episodes per series!! This is very poorly done on behalf of Amazon, Masterpiece... whoever is responsible but surely this can be remedied? Or are you doling out just enough to force people to buy the entire collection off of you? Shame.....
