İşeme bozuklukları, idrar yapma sürecinde ortaya çıkan anormalliklerdir ve farklı nedenlerden kaynaklanabilir. Hem erkeklerde hem de kadınlarda görülebilen bu durum, yaşam kalitesini olumsuz etkileyebilir. İdrar yapmada zorluk, sık idrara çıkma, idrar kaçırma veya tam boşaltamama gibi belirtiler farklı hastalıklarla ilişkili olabilir.
Ayrıca işeme sırasında mesane dolarken idrarın kaçısını engelleyen mesane vanasının açılması ve hemen ardından mesanenin, idrarın tamamını boşaltacak bir süre boyunca yeterli bir şekilde kasılması gerekir.
