Melbourne Family and Wedding Photographer

Hello! I’m Amber, a Melbourne family and wedding photographer.
This includes family photography, child photography, maternity and newborn photography, pet photography and wedding photography.
I have been photographing since I was 14 years old, so that make this year my 24th year in the industry! First I studied my Bachelor of Arts in Photography then dived straight into the workforce. There has not been a week I have not picked up my camera.
It’s my passion. I love working with different people and documenting their lives as they unfold.
I love light and pretty places. I love animals. I love weddings and children.
Working as a Melbourne family and wedding photographer makes me so happy!
People ask how would I describe my style? Gosh it’s tricky to explain something that I do instinctively. Words that others have used are:
Storytelling • Whimsical • Documentary • Natural • Posed and Unposed • Captivating • Emotional • Rich • Moody • Artistic
I like to keep things wild and messy and real, but technically perfect. If I can! (I am my biggest critic.)
Service areas include but are not limited to: The Dandenong Ranges, The Yarra Valley, The Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, The Victorian Alpine Region, The Great Ocean Road, Jamieson, Ballarat, Flinders, Bright, Olinda, Warburton, Fairfield, Kew, Brighton, Toorak, Apollo Bay, Frankston and any other pretty place in Victoria! I am of course open to travelling interstate once this whole Covid mess settles down!

I have no words to describe Amber and her work. She was prompt to respond since the very beginning and just very easy to work with. She has this beautiful personality which makes anyone at ease - very helpful since I was quite nervous that day.

She was excellent at directing her subjects and showed a clear vision throughout the shoot. She turned the editing around within a very short time for the number and quality of the shots.
