All settings, such as your selected target currency, UI theme, language preferences, and historical product price tracking, are stored 100% locally in your browser (via Chrome Storage API). No data leaves your device.

3. Remote Services

• Amazon Product Pages: The extension reads product ASINs and public buybox prices across Amazon international marketplaces strictly to display real-time price comparisons.

• AI Summaries: Review texts are analyzed on-demand via the Google Gemini API to generate pros/cons summaries. No user identifiers are included in these requests.

• Currency Rates: Public exchange rates are retrieved periodically from trusted public rate providers.

4. Third-Party Sharing & Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or transfer any user data to third parties.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

Amazon Smart Saver may earn an affiliate commission when users click and purchase products through store links, at zero additional cost to the user.
