Amazon is believed to be developing a smartphone with glasses-free 3D screen that will be released in June.
According to reports in the Wall Street Journal, the device will make use of retina-tracking technology to make images on the display of the smartphone appear to float above the screen like a hologram and appear three-dimensional at all angles.'
According to the report, the phone will be announced in June, and will be launched in September.

After the company's entry into tablet market with Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HD which are being shown here by Jeff Bezo, CEO - the company is now working on a smartphone that has a 3D screen.

The average cost for paid games is $1.85
This would put it in direct competition with Apple's iPhone 6, which is scheduled to go on sale in September.
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also believes the firm will launch a phone.
He recently wrote that he believes Amazon (US) would launch its own smartphone in 3-6 months using the same hardware strategy used for its tablet and e-reader.
"The supply chain will begin stocking materials in Q2 of 2014 to be used for production."
It's coming just a few weeks after the firm launched Fire TV which is a set-top box that doubles as a games console.
The box gives users the possibility of downloading TV and movies as well as apps.
You can use a remote controller to play games, or buy an additional controller for around $40.
Mike Frazzini, from Amazon Games, stated that each game will be priced similar to a smartphone app, with an average cost of $2.

The games that will be available at launch include Minecraft, driving game Asphalt 8 and first person shooter Sev Zero, created by the games studio double Helix Microsoft bought recently.
Peter Larsen from Amazon said the company was looking to 'invent and simplify' with the box.
It's extremely powerful, and it's also amazingly simple,' he claimed.
Amazon would be directly competing with Apple and Google in this move. Apple is expected to announce its new iPhone in September.
Jeff Bezos (Amazon.com CEO and the Founder) said that Fire TV is a tiny device with massive specifications, tons of content, and a reasonable price.
The service is based on Amazon's current Prime TV and film on demand service, as well as Hulu Plus.
The device, priced at $99, is targeted at Amazon and Roku's products , along with google's Chromecast.
According to the company, it plans to expand its services in the near future.
Amazon already provides movies and TV shows on demand free for customers who are subscribers to Amazon's premium shipping service Prime, in both the UK and US.
The speculation about Amazon smartphones began in 2011.
