TikTok users are urinating on themselves as part of the revolting 'Pee Your Pants Challenge,' and while it allegedly started as a joke, it quickly became the latest trend to go viral on the platform.
The disgusting videos show people (mostly guys) standing in front of their bathroom mirrors fully dressed as they proudly wet themselves — all while catching the entire thing on camera.
Liam Weyer, 19, from Kansas, started the challenge on April 21 when he posted footage of himself peeing his pants and aptly dubbed it the #peeyourpantschallenge.
Too far? Liam Weyer, 19, from Kansas, started the 'Pee Your Pants Challenge' on April 21 when he posted footage of himself peeing his pants on TikTok (pictured)
Whoops! The teen claims he filmed the video as a parody of other 'pointless' challenges and was surprised that it started to trend
In the clip, he is wearing a T-shirt and shorts as he looks in the mirror and says, 'Pee your pants challenge.'
Viewers can then hear his stream of urine hitting the floor as a wet spot forms on his shorts.
The video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, though Liam had to repost the clip after TikTok removed the original.
Many people were appalled by the footage, with some blaming the coronavirus pandemic for leading to such a gross challenge.
'I refuse to believe this video exists,' one person commented, while another added: 'People seriously need to get back to work soon...everyone has gone insane.'
Going for it: One of the most popular videos is from TikTok user @mentally7evan, who stood in his bathroom in a T-shirt and jeans as he wet himself
Gross: Evan laughs as a stream of urine snakes down his leg, but then he starts to groan. He pans the camera toward the ground to show the puddle of pee he is standing in
'This lockdown is making people even more insane,' someone else agreed.
While it's undoubtedly disgusting, Liam inadvertently inspired others to take part in the challenge, though he insists the video was meant to be a spoof.
'I am definitely surprised that the challenge actually became a trend,' Liam told Insider via email. 'I created the challenge as a parody of the other challenges that have gone viral on the internet in an attempt to show how pointless they are.
'I am surprised to see that people on the internet will pee themselves if you call it a challenge and add a hashtag.'
While Liam never intended on people following his lead, many have. The #peeyourpantschallenge hashtag that he started has more than 3.3 million views.
Smart? TikTok user @turkofgta was at least wise enough to stand in the bathtub when he took on the challenge

Most of the clip show participants saying 'pee your pants challenge' before peeing their pants — just like Liam did.

Plenty of people have also used the hashtag to share their disgust regarding the challenge or to post gags where they pretend they're going pee their pants before changing their minds.
The new challenge is almost as sickening as the toilet-licking challenge that took place in mid-March amid the coronavirus pandemic, prompting a fierce backlash from horrified critics.

”I’m actually peeing in that photo, she has no idea. No clue,“ actress tells late-night host James Corden
That Jennifer Lawrence — she’s quite the whiz kid.
“The Hunger Games” star appeared on CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden” on Tuesday and shared a heartwarming family anecdote — about how she shot a photo with her mother while urinating.
The photo depicts Lawrence’s mother lounging with a wine glass in her hand, while her daughter smiles and squats behind her in a seemingly innocent pose.
“I’m actually peeing in that photo, she has no idea. No clue,” Lawrence shared.
“I went to pee, and then my friend got the phone because she knew I was peeing, and then we both decided to leave my mom out of it,” Lawrence continued.
Informed by host Corden that she has “a very relaxed peeing face,” Lawrence noted, “Yeah, I know how to do it. I’ve done it a lot.”
Watch Lawrence go with the flow in the video.
Sadly, numerous female celebrities have been attacked by hackers, who stole personal information as well as sexually explicit photos from their phones and computers.
Jones is the latest victim of nude photo hackers, with her personal website being vandalized and several explicit photos posted before the site was taken down
The Department of Homeland Security has opened an investigation into the hack, which many believe was perpetrated by a fan of former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos , who was banned from Twitter after his "targeted abuse" of the comedian.
"The Avengers" star has been the victim of hackers multiple times. Nude photos of the actress were released online in 2011 and again in the massive 2014 hack .
The perpetrator in the 2011 incident was eventually sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Lawrence was among the most high-profile victims of the 2014 hack. She came out strongly against those who viewed the pictures, saying doing so was "a sex crime."
"The Big Bang Theory" star was also caught up in the 2014 hack, and took it in stride with a cheeky Instagram post .
The 2014 hack immediately drew the attention of the FBI, which began investigating the event that claimed over 100 victims, most of them celebrities.
Pennsylvania resident Ryan Collins was eventually captured and charged with illegally accessing the Google and Apple accounts of numerous celebrities, though their identities weren't made public.
Collins eventually pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information, receiving an 18-month prison sentence in the plea deal.
Collins was not the only one charged in the hack. Edward Majerczyk of Chicago was also arrested in connection with the data breach.
Majerczyk faced the same charge as Collins: one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer.
Majerczyk pleaded guilty to the charge in July 2016. The maximum sentence for the charge of unauthorized access to a protected computer is five years.
In January 2017, Majerczyk received a sentence of nine months in jail as part of a plea deal. Majerczyk also was ordered to pay $5,700 in restitution for counseling services for one unnamed celebrity because of the harm caused by the hack.
WWE Divas star Paige stated on Twitter that "personal and private" photos of her had been stolen and leaked online in March 2017. The leak is possibly part of a reportedly larger hack affecting several celebrity women. Like other victims of the apparent larger leak, photos of Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis, appeared on the website Celebrity Jihad.
