She keeps in shape with regular workouts combined with long walks with her dog Finn.
But when she was spotted on the set of her latest movie While We're Young on Monday, it looked as though Amanda Seyfried may have taken her fitness regime too far.
The actress' legs appeared extremely sinewy as she strolled around Brooklyn, New York, in a pair of brown heeled clogs and a lime green mini skirt.

Amanda is known and loved for her slim yet curvy figure, but it seems the star has a more defined look these days, perhaps after clocking so many hours at the gym.
The 27-year-old was joined by her canine companion for her day of work and used the time in between takes to shower her furry friend with affection and pick up some lunch.
And Finn - who has his own Twitter account - had food on his mind too, responding to one of his followers, 'I hope something without vegetables,' in response to a follower's inquiry, 'What's for dinner?'

The Lovelace star teamed her colourful skirt with a white shirt and an oversized charcoal cardigan.
Amanda - who is currently dating actor Justin Long - appeared to be sporting minimal, if any, make-up, and she often likes to go bare-faced when she's not in front of the camera.
But her eyes were concealed with brown sunglasses to shield from the blinding rays, as her dark blonde locks flowed down.

Also seen on Monday was Naomi Watts, who stars in While We're Young, in addition to Ben Stiller.
The 45-year-old actress was more dolled up than her younger peer, wearing a white blouse, brown-belted boyfriend jeans, black ankle boots and a loose black blazer.
The feature follows an older couple learning from an unlikely friendship with a young and fun couple.

On Wednesday she took her beloved dog Finn to a black tie event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
But Amanda Seyfried stepped out alone on Friday, when the 33-year-old hit the red carpet at the Good For A Laugh Comedy Benefit in Los Angeles.
The Mean Girls actress went for a white and black combination for the star studded event, which also counted Sarah Silverman and Colin Hanks among the attendees.

The Big Love star wore a thigh-skimming black miniskirt which showcased the Pennsylvania native's slim pins.
A long sleeve white top provided contrast to Amanda's ensemble, and she completed the monochrome magic with black ankle boots.
Seyfried went largely makeup free for the outing, save for a slash of pink lip liner and she wore her wavy blonde tresses loose.
The comedy event, which featured comedians Chelsea Peretti and Tig Notaro, was held in support of children affected by war.

Amanda Seyfried accidentally exposed a bit too much during a photo shoot, with pictures showing the actress accidentally flashing onlookers while she posed for a perfume ad.
The 30-year-old actress was in Paris for a photo shoot for Givenchy's fragrance, Live Irresistible. As she reclined on a ledge, her pink skirt rode upward and exposed her backside. Photographs of Seyfried's accidental flash soon spread on the internet, but the U.K.'s Mirror noted that the incident didn't seem to bother the actress much.
"The star, who split with ex boyfriend Justin Long last September, was joined by her boyfriend 39-year-old Thomas Sadoski.

Seyfried even said she has a fitness routine that focuses on strength rather than weight loss.
"When I'm not working too hard I try to see a trainer twice a week. I do weight training, a bit of boxing and running at the gym. I aim for that 'strong not skinny' look," Seyfried said .
And back in 2014, Amanda Seyfried opened up about the pressures of staying thin in Hollywood. In a message on Twitter, the actress said she refuses to change her body type just to help land a role.
"It's intense. And sort of awful," she said. "Yesterday for lunch? Spinach. Just spinach. Spinach and some seeds."
Seyfried has also spoken often about her own insecurities and her struggles with anxiety. This is an issue the actress has tried bringing to light, saying that she was often pressured to keep these problems under wraps, but now is willing to share them.
But Seyfried's advocacy goes beyond diet and exercise and her own personal struggles. Seyfried said she has a "great affinity with women who live strong, bold lives," including the artist Tamara de Lempicka." She hoped to be able to influence Hollywood a bit to be more open and accepting of all women.
