It is oh-so-peaceful and tranquil. We saw visitors marvelling at the crystal-clear water, families enjoying picnics on the lush green meadows surrounding the lakes and even adventurous souls taking a dip in the refreshing water. We also saw a seat-out area where preparations for a picnic appeared to be underway. The gentle sound of the water lapping against the shore, the chirping of birds, and the fresh mountain air all combine to create a truly rejuvenating experience. I will tell you this for free: the Blue Eyes of Reith is not only defined by its stunning panoramic scenery. As you take in the surroundings, a sense of tranquillity and peace washes over you. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life or need some space to de-stress, the Blue Eyes of Reith is the place to go. You can simply relax by the lake , take a leisurely walk, or rent a boat and explore the lake at your own pace. For the adventure junkies, there are hiking trails that lead through the surrounding forests, with views for days. You can also try your hands at fishing in the lake, though a permit is required. No matter how you choose to spend your time at the lake, one thing is for sure: you will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with memories that will last a lifetime. So pack a picnic basket and your sense of adventure and head to this enchanting corner of Austria.
