The Alloy Worship Unit is a special boss monster that can be found in the level Siren's Call . The Unit is summoned by destroying 5 Alloy Vulture nests found throughout the map. After a short while, the Unit will be summoned. Defeating the Unit will complete the Challenge Guidance Offline challenge and unlock the Loader .
Each time the Alloy Worship Unit is defeated it will spawn a red item in the center of the stage. If there are multiple players in the game, a red item will spawn for each player.

multi is fairly good at kill it and if you want to 100% counter the attack that sends you into the air play either acrid (for slam attack) or arti (for jetpack)
Just keep playing. Been there hundreds of times in my runs without issue.

If you're playing a melee character with mobility like loader or merc just stand ontop of it and wail to avoid the ground AOE with some moments of getting off and on if it's still able to shoot you, acrid could do the same but it is much harder and if your ranged just stay on the move and be ready to use your movement ability
First time I beat the AWU was with Engineer, excellent choice while you're still learning the boss' attacks. Assuming you got halfway-decent items in the first three stages, you could honestly just leave him to your turrets (he'll aggro on them). Depending on how much healing items you got, you may have to replace the turrets a few times. Use your shield bubble and shoot your primary at him yourself too, if possible. Really he's only got 4 attacks to learn: Laser barrage (horizontal) Laser barrage (vertical) Summon solus unit minions and of course the big nuke attack. Keep your distance as most characters, because the laser barrages can kill you real quick. When you see him start charging lasers, get behind cover, or just run in one direction if no cover is available. If it's vertical you'll probably go by unscathed, but if it's horizontal you need to time a jump over one of the blast once it reaches you. Take out the minions quickly after they spawn, they're just going to be weakening you so that the Worship Unit can kill you with one shot (As long as you're over 90% hp, nothing can one shot you. This is called One-shot Protection). For the nukes, large markers will appear on the ground. The big ones don't deal damage like the small ones, but they do SLOW YOU DOWN, and of course, they telegraph his giant nuke attack - so get outta there! Hopoo feathers and wax quails can help you escape these easily with time to spare. Otherwise, sprint and jump to minimize the amount of slowness it inflicts until you're out of it. The big nuke attack is on a pretty predictable timer, watch him do it from afar a couple times until you feel like you know it's rhythm, then you can avoid it much easier. Good luck!

If you can grab Shattering Justice, Death Mark and H3ad S3t as Rex, root Alloy, seed barrage, then use volcanic egg to fly straight up and goomba stomp Alloy with H3ad S3t. Or use Brainstalk to drop ten Seed Barrage on it's head at once.
If you want i could help you. we can get into a run and ill explain things as we go. and obviously help you get loader. and even help you afterwards to get you her achievements. if you wish that is.
The super mega turbo ultra kill move can be dodged pretty consistently with enough movement. Your best bet is to fight it on a sloped surface or near a vent so you can dodge easier.

Alloy Worship Unit Monster Log / Drop Chances
I currently am only missing the logbook for the Alloy Worship Unit, and I need to know if there is any way of increasing the chances of getting a log to drop. I originally believed that the information given about the 57 Leaf Clover, stating that it increases the drop chance of monster logs, was true, but have come to believe otherwise. I am currently in a command + sacrifice run and am almost on stage 30 at this point. I have 55 57 Leaf Clovers, and I have not gotten the logbook to drop. This has caused me to believe the clover does NOT affect drop chance. Even with supremely bad luck, I have rolled for this 1% drop chance over 400 times during my clover stacked runs ( assuming the clover DOES re-roll the drop chance like it would an ATG proc ). Someone give me some advice please, this is literally the only thing left in the game I have yet to unlock and it's taking too much of my free time. Even with a 1% drop rate, I have fought the unit about 60 or 70 times now, just today. Hope everyone is staying safe out there!
Sometimes a log just won't drop. If you haven't gotten it by the second attempt just finish the run and start a new run. No real information backing it other than three or four runs that it wouldn't drop even after seven or eight tries in the run.
This is just RNG being RNG unfortunately. There's not a whole lot you can do about a rare drop chance just not happening other than keeping at it.

The fastest way to fight AWU is to grind a prismatic trial that starts you on sirens call. Still pretty rng reliant, but at least it's something (unless drop chance is fixed with the seed.)
lol, random is random. JHarlequin is wrong and Jimmy Hunter is right. Just try, try again.
