And now a star in her own right following the success of GLOW, Alison Brie recalled an embarrassing moment involving Ellen DeGeneres .
The 37-year-old actress accidentally flashed a not-safe-for-work photo to the talk show host, which also was the first time they had ever met.

While catching up on Ellen's self-titled show, the ladies reminisced on the past and their unlikely meeting through a shared personal trainer.
'I'm so glad that you remember that we met before even though I feel like it was a little embarrassing for me because the nature of our meeting,' Brie said in a red LBV dress.
'I was rushing into the gym and I had been receiving some sort of prank texts that morning. And, you know, I've known our trainer Jason for a while, so I share things with him all the time.'

Alison recalled running into her fitness session and declaring: "Everybody, you gotta see what I've been receiving on my phone!"
'And as I go to show him, there you are, just passing by, you're sort of just lunging by,' she said. 'And you were like, "What's going on?" And I whipped around — I think before I realized it was you — I was like, "Look at this!" And, you know, it was a photo of a man's nether-regions.'
'Right,' Ellen said without emotion.
'I'm so glad that you remember that we met before even though I feel like it was a little embarrassing for me because the nature of our meeting,' Brie said
'Nobody I knew, a stranger,' Brie added. 'I had been getting those texts all morning and I really, really kind of put it in your face and I apologize.'
Ellen didn't seem phased by the incident, but remembered Alison's dedication to getting into fighting shape for her role as a female wrestler in the '80s.
'I remember more than that was how strong you were, because you were training for GLOW. You were so impressive, it was intimidating,' Ellen said. 'I couldn't believe how strong you were.'
'Nobody I knew, a stranger,' Brie added. 'I had been getting those texts all morning and I really, really kind of put it in your face and I apologize'

On the Nov. 30 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show , Alison Brie recalled her cringe-worthy first encounter with Ellen DeGeneres , during which she accidentally showed the host a revealing photo.
"I'm so glad that you remember that we met before even though I feel like it was a little embarrassing for me," the Glow star said. "The nature of our meeting was, you know, I was rushing into the gym and I had been receiving some sort of prank texts that morning. And, you know, I've known our trainer Jason for a while so I share things with him all the time."
The actress continued, "And I came in bursting like, ‘Hey guys, you gotta see what I've been receiving on my phone!' And as I go to show him, there you are, just passing by, you're sort of just lunging by. And you were like, ‘What's going on?' And I whipped around—I think before I realized it was you—I was like, ‘Look at this!' And, you know, it was a photo of a man's nether-regions."
Although the 37-year-old confirmed the man was "a stranger," she immediately apologized to the daytime talk host, recalling, "I really kind of put it in your face and I apologize."
After hearing Alison recall the moment, a smiling Ellen replied, "Yes, I remember that."
During her interview with Ellen, Alison also discussed the newest season of Bachelorette , which she confessed she's a big fan of, and applauded Tayshia Adams for kissing multiple guys on the show.
"This is what the Bachelorette is supposed to do! I'm glad we got the switcheroo," she excitedly expressed. "I'm so glad Claire found love with Dale —spoiler if you haven't watched the first three episodes—but I'm so glad we have Tayshia now. I love Tayshia. I feel like she's the Bachelorette that this group of guys really needed so they could get that kind of open affection."

Ellen DeGeneres continues to spread holiday cheer with Day 4 of her coveted 12 Days of Giveaways on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, airing Monday.
The talk-show host is joined by Gayle King and Alison Brie for the latest instalment, with the latter recalling the first time she and DeGeneres met.
Explaining how she accidentally ended up showing DeGeneres a NSFW photo, Brie reveals of them training at the same gym: “I’m so glad that you remember that we’ve met before, even though I feel like it was a little embarrassing for me.
“I was rushing into the gym and I’d been receiving some prank texts that morning and I’ve known our trainer Jason for a while so I share things with him all the time. I came bursting in like ‘everybody you’ve got to see what I’ve been receiving on my phone’ and as I go to show him, there you are [Ellen] just lunging by.
“I think before I realized it was you I was like ‘look at this!’ It was a photo of a man’s nether regions. Nobody I knew, a stranger… I really kind of put it in your face and I apologize.”
King then appears on the show via Zoom, telling DeGeneres how she won’t be spending Christmas with her kids and Oprah Winfrey in Hawaii this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The star shares, “You know Oprah ain’t playing with that 14 day quarantine, so if you go to visit her you have to quarantine in the guest house for 14 days.”
“It’s a very lovely guest house, but that’s all I get for this 14 days so why do I want to go to Hawaii and just sit in a guest house? So I won’t be able to do that either. I really don’t know what I’m going to do for Christmas.”
King also talks about quarantining in Winfrey’s guest house this summer and filming “CBS This Morning” from the “Santa Barbara Bureau,” as well as being exhausted from reporting major stories this year, including COVID-19, social unrest, and a significant U.S. presidential election.
