The KT Wiz Futures have concluded their 2024 Spring Camp. The first camp, held from February 1 to 21 at the Iksan Futures Stadium in Jeollabuk-do, solidified the basics through physical fitness and tactical training, and on the 21st, the team moved to Busan Gijang for the second camp, where they played a total of seven evaluation games against LG and KIA Futures teams and university teams.

KT said, "The growth of young prospects was noticeable in this camp. Kim Jeong-woon and Yook Cheong-myeong, who are from the top round, showed more stable pitching, while Hong Hyun-bin and Park Tae-wan from the outfield showed good hitting in the evaluation games." Kim Jung-woon was named the camp MVP for his strong performance in the tournament. Kim Chul-ho was the best hitter, and Han Min-woo was the best pitcher.

"The biggest achievement is that we completed the camp schedule without any injuries or dropouts, and all the players grew one step at a time," said Kim Tae-han. "We are grateful to the coaching staff and training staff for their efforts in managing the squad, and to the front desk for supporting us to train in a good environment."

Kim Jung-woon, who was named the camp MVP, said, "I think the bright and free atmosphere during the camp gave me the opportunity to grow by communicating with my senior and junior teammates. I am grateful to the coaches for helping me gain confidence, and I will work hard to prepare for the first team this year."

The KT Futures team will hold practice games with other Futures teams such as LG and Doosan in Icheon from the 19th.
