There's no real plot as such; it's just a girl who loves her husband, but he's a bit boring so she gets her kicks elsewhere, and he doesn't like it much. When I think of Italian Genre cinema of the 90s not many memorable movies come to mind: Cemetary Man , Stendhal Syndrome , and maybe Deodato's The Washing Machine . Brass kinda sticks out. While most Italian directors moved to work in television productions he continued to make his Erotica films. Even though there's a noticeable drop in production quality in the mid-90s he stayed true to his art.
All Ladies Do It says that sexual adventures with other people are ok if you're in a relationship. You shouldn't feel cheated because the sex doesn't mean anything. If you agree with that or not is up to you. Brass definitely agrees as he declares in more than one interview.

This is the horniest movie I've ever seen, I've watched porno less horny than this. The actress who played Diana was wonderful and gorgeous, I'd be down for a movie with her where she isn't naked the entire time.

Brass' loose adaptation of Mozart's Così fan tutte gets better with every watch. For some reason, he managed to create a movie that has a vibe like no other. Everything seems artificial (besides the butts of course), meaning most of it was shot in Cinecittà, due to the film-stock it has some "cold" quality to it, and there's barely any real on-location footage. But two of the scenes that are outside are fantastic: the rave in the ruins is the best scene in his whole filmography, and the scene where Claudia Koll happily scares away the pigeons in Venezia is wonderful as well. This is a film that perhaps grows fonder in the mind than in the actual act of watching. True, the copy I saw wasn't a good one. I'm pretty sure that I saw it in the wrong aspect ratio and with a very muddy print, but it was all I could find. I hear the new German Blu-Ray print is superb, so I would absolutely see this again in a good copy. The "it" of the title appears to be adultery, although for a while it looks like it might be referring to bum sex, such is the focus on the heroine's soon-to-be-gone anal virginity. She is Diana, a sales girl in a lingerie boutique run by a stereotypical effeminate queen, who loves her (slightly boring) husband, but lives in a world of visibly priapic men whose cocks she finds just too tempting. After an encounter with a sleazy Frenchman at an erotic poetry recital, Diana begins to give into her desires, with a solo trip back to her hometown giving her ample opportunity to try new things. As a lover of all things naughty, I enjoy both softcore and hardcore romps, but I don't recall ever seeing something so weirdly in the middle as this film. It combines the softcore habit of not showing the details of the old in and out with the hardcore tradition of raunchier entertainment (not much in the way of softly candlelit bedrooms here) and actual genitals. Thank you for the dicks, all movies are improved by hard naked cocks! Lots of artistically shot shapely asses on display here, which made Jason very happy. I can't say much for the story, wouldn't mind seeing the opera it's based on, but I don't much like this message that everyone cheats, so it's cool. Anyone actually watching this for the story? Tinto Brass #16 --- I'm loging this here because some idiot marked it as "adult" on TMDb. Monamour isn't a hardcore movie. It's Tinto's remake of his earlier movie Così fan tutte . His 1992 movie is amazing. Monamour however sucks.
There are so many problems with this. I don't even know where to start. It was shot digitally and looks like crap. His shot-compositions are still the same but have little to no impact due to the digital look. The movie is way too bright. Every time you see a window it's just white light. Don't even get me started on the dream sequences. Horrible.
