Hi, I’m Alicia Love Read. I’m an American/Canadian actor and model living in Vancouver.

I began my career on stage after graduating from theatre school in 1999, but put my dream aside to raise my daughter. For the next 17 years I worked my way up to the C-Suite level in the beauty industry. Professionally, choosing to work in beauty gave me a stable career with a creative outlet, saving me from the clutches of poverty as a single mother. Personally, choosing to look for beauty in everyone and everything saved my heart, affording me strength to never give up: on myself, on my dreams, and on others. I knew that one day I would return to acting. Today I represent a new era of well-aging women to people of all generations. Together we have the power to allay fears, restore hope, and help others navigate life in diverse, inclusive, meaningful ways. Beauty really will save the world. Love, Alicia

Alicia Love is as loving as her name! I loved the Free Your Voice Show interview with Alicia Love, especially about feeling into my Yes or No by tapping into my body wisdom. When she spoke of using my body as a pendulum, which is another form of muscle testing, that is what I teach in my own presentations as well. I’m learning more and more how to utilize my internal gifts. Our bodies are so precious in so many ways that most of us are clueless about.
