This is a bonus track on Alice Cooper's 27th album, Paranormal . The song is one of two historic mini-reunions with original Alice Cooper band members, guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith . This song was originally written by Smith. "When the original band broke up in 1975, there was no bad blood," explained Cooper. "There were no lawsuits β€” we had just burned out the creative process. We had gone to high school together and had recorded something like five platinum albums in a row. We were never out of sight of each other for 10 years. Everybody just went their own way. Neal, Dennis and I always stayed in touch. Mike disappeared for a while and Glen Buxton passed away in 1997, which was a big blow." "But last year Neal called me up and said, 'I have a couple of songs.' I said, 'Great. Bring 'em over.' Then he said Mike was stopping by, so I had them come to my house and we just worked on a few things for a week," he continued. "Then Dennis called up and said, 'I got a couple songs.' So, I thought, 'Hey, let's do this!' When you listen to record, it just fits right in."
The song is about a tough guy who is transgender and not afraid to let the world know about it. Cooper said: "It was gonna be 'I Want A Genuine American Girl', and I went, 'No, no, no. I Wanna Be A Genuine American Girl! It's really a tough song, so it's this guy going, 'I've gotta paint my nails, I've gotta do my hair.' [Laughs]"

I do my hair, I paint my nails
It pours outside, it never fails
So the makeup runs, down my pretty face
I'm a muddy mess, a MAC disgrace

But when I leave this room tonight
I'm gonna look and feel alright
'Cause my mama says the world's an oyster
And I'm the pearl

I'm a genuine American girl
A bonafide beauty in an ugly world
My vision of pure femininity
Yeah, I'm a genuine American girl
From my ruby red lips to my bleached blonde curls
I'm everything I hoped to be

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
That a modest little girl is looking back at me
The boys all whistle when I walk by
So I toss my hair and wink my eye

And when I hit the floor tonight
I'm gonna look and feel alright
'Cause my mama says the world's an oyster
And I'm the pearl

I'm a genuine American girl
I'm a rock and roll queen in a hip-hop world
My vision of pure femininity
Yeah, I'm a genuine American girl
From my ruby red lips to my bleached blonde curls
I'm everything I hoped to be

You think it's vanity
Or some insanity
But this is no-man's land
And I live here everyday

So come and dance with me
Come take a chance with me
I'm only thirty out of fifty shades of grey
What do you say?

Hey there, big boy
Why don't you come up and see me tonight?

And when we hit the floor tonight
We're gonna look and feel alright
'Cause my mama says the world's an oyster
And I'm the pearl

I'm a genuine American girl
A bonafide beauty in an ugly world
My vision of pure femininity
Yeah, I'm a genuine American girl
From my ruby red lips to my bleached blonde curls
I'm every He-Man's fantasy
A feminine fatality
You gotta know that I am
Everything I want to be, oh yeah
I'm everything I wanna be
Uh-huh, oh yeah

Thanks to Andrey Dmitriev for adding these lyrics.

Sammy Hagar - "Heavy Metal" Head bangers in leather

It all comes together
When they shoot out the lights
50,000 wats of power
And it's pushin' overload
The beast is ready to devour

Uriah Heep - "Easy Livin'" This is a thing I've never known before
It's called easy livin'
This is a place I've never seen before
And I've been forgiven

Easy livin' and I've been forgiven
Since you've taken your place in my...
Dio - "Holy Diver" Holy Diver
You've been down too long in the midnight sea
Oh what's becoming of me?
Ride the tiger
You can see his stripes but you know he's clean
Oh don't you see what I mean?

Gotta get away

Cinderella - "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)" I can't tell ya baby what went wrong
I can't make you feel what you felt
So long ago, I'll let it show
I can't give you back what's been hurt
Heartaches come and go and all that's
left are the words...
Bon Jovi - "Limitless" Wake up, everybody wake up
Here we go, it's just another day
Another buzz, another beep
Scrub your face and brush your teeth
Out the door, into the street
I fell out of my sleep
