Algeria Condemns Israel's Incursions Into Lebanon: MFA

Israel's actions are "a blatant aggression against the sovereignty" of Lebanon, as well as "a manifest violation of international law," the Algerian foreign ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement, Algeria also called on the international community to "put an end to the actions of the Israeli occupier," urging global leaders to force Israel to respect the UN Charter and Security Council resolutions calling for a ceasefire.

On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered strikes against Hezbollah in the suburbs of Beirut.

Iran condemned these acts, indicating that they jeopardize the truce between Washington and Tehran.
