The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services who was collecting information about the locations of objects of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula.

It was established that a 25-year-old resident of the Simferopol district of the Republic of Crimea, through the foreign Internet messenger Telegram, established contact with an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and, on the instructions of the curator, transmitted information about the locations of military installations, air defense systems, the movements of military personnel, and the presence of ships in the waters of the Kerch Strait.

The malefactor transmitted the information received to a representative of a foreign intelligence service for the use of artillery and rocket-bombing attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by paramilitary formations of Ukraine.

On the instructions of the supervisor, she arrived in the area of the Crimean Bridge, from where she coordinated a missile attack on a freight railway ferry in the port of Kavkaz (Krasnodar Territory).

For these actions, the Crimean woman received remuneration from the Ukrainian special services by transferring funds to her crypto wallet.

The Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has opened a criminal case against the detainee on the grounds of a crime under Article 275 (high treason) of the Criminal Code of Russia. The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 20 years.

The FSB of Russia once again draws attention to the fact that all persons who have consented to assist the enemy will be identified, brought to criminal responsibility and will receive the harsh punishment they deserve.
