American meteorologist, Alexandra Steele, currently works as an on-camera meteorologist on The Weather Channel. She rose to fame after working in CNN as a meteorologist. She resigned from CNN due to some undisclosed issues after years of working there. Steele has always maintained a low-key personal life, is married and has a baby girl.
Alexandra Steele was born in 1969 in the United States. She is American and belongs to the White ethnicity. She was raised in a Catholic family. In 1986, she graduated from a local school.
Later, she finished her graduation in thermodynamics, hydrology, and other hard sciences. Moreover, she received a seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society.
Soon after her graduation, Steele started working on radio shows, Good Morning America and Prime Time Live . She then began her career in TV from an ABC Affiliated TV station, WJLA-TV . After working there for some time, Steele shifted to the Weather Channel (founded by John Coleman and Frank Batten ) in 2009.
She worked there as a co-anchor along with the American meteorologist, Jim Cantore . Alexandra Steele rose to fame after joining CNN as a meteorologist in 2010.
As of 2014, she left one of the renowned networks of the world, CNN for some unknown reasons and returned back to her old channel, The Weather Channel and began working there.
Alexandra Steele is very private when it comes to her personal life. Steele prefers to keep her romantic life out of the media, however, sources claimed she is married. Steele hasn't disclosed anything about her husband to the public, not even his name.
Alexandra Steele was rumored to be dating the famous American meteorologist, Jim Cantore who was also once rumored to be her husband after he divorced his wife, Tamra Cantore .
Though both of them never mentioned anything about their relationship. Well, only time will tell whether both of them ever dated or are anything but colleagues?
As per records, the couple is happily living together. They welcomed their first child in October 2008. The news of her pregnancy first came to the light when she took a long leave from her work.
Soon after giving birth to her first daughter, she joined the work. The identity of the father of the child is still not known. Her daughter is now 10-year-old yet the meteorologist doesn't share any information about her daughter.
Alexander Steele is currently working on The Weather Channel . As per the network's statistics, the salary of a meteorologist is divided into two categories, the average of $46763 and the Minimax of $31k-$73k.
