There was a bit of a chill in the air on Wednesday as ' ESPN The Magazine ' released its entire line-up of athletic Adonises who made the cut for this year's Body Issue.
The final group of steamy photos featured the most frigid members of the line-up, led by cold-weather competitors and Olympic medal winners Ashley Wagner and Gus Kenworthy.
Wagner, who axeled, lutzed and toe-looped her way to a Bronze medal at the 2014 Games, proudly displayed her figure skating figure in a topless spread that showcased her muscular legs and bare bum.
Kenworthy, the openly gay Olympic Silver medalist who has used social media to share his love for public nudity, let it all hang out as he posed on the mountain and showed off a few tricks for his pics.
Hockey heartthrobs Joe Thornton and Brent Burns dropped trou together in their spread, though the two maintained some of their modesty thanks to their lengthy facial hair and carefully placed hockey sticks.
Wounded Warrior Kirstie Ennis also graces the cover of the magazine, with the retired Marine Corps. sergeant displaying her toned physique in her accompanying spread, becoming the first veteran to land a spot on the list.
Solid as a rock: Wounded Warrior Kirstie Ennis (above) is one of the cover stars, becoming the first veteran to land on the list
On the mend: Ennis spoke about how athletics helped her recover both physically and mentally after losing her leg in a helicopter crash while serving in Afghanistan
Primped and crimped: Hockey heartthrobs Joe Thornton and Brent Burns dropped trou together in their spread, which showcased the NHL stars lengthy and crimped beards
Walking on water: Burns went full-on nude for the spread by also popping out his false teeth
Gus Gus: Openly gay freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy is on the cover again as well, two years after he came out in the pages of the magazine
In her interview, Ennis recounts the moment that changed her life forever back in 2012, when the helicopter she was in crashed while moving through Afghanistan, resulting in the amputation of her leg.
It was sports she revealed that saved her in the end.
'When I was lying in a hospital bed and my neck was broken, my leg was all messed up, my arms were mangled, my whole face had to be reconstructed, I was in shambles and I had huge self-esteem issues,' explained Ennis.
'My first thoughts were, Am I going to be able to walk again? Wear a dress again? How will people look at me? Who's going to find me attractive? I went through a phase of being very uncomfortable with my body.'
When she was able to, Ennis said that began to snowboard and run again, all while trying to learn how to navigate the activities on her new prosthetic leg.
From there the desire to play team sports and compete came roaring back.
'It's not just a physical process; it's mental and emotional,' said Ennis.
'Whether you're on a team playing a sport or fighting alongside your brothers and sisters in arms, you know damn well the person to your left and to your right has your back no matter what.'
Kenworthy returned to the cover two years after he famously came out in the magazine, and spoke about the advantage being in the closet gave him in competition.,
'I think my mental edge comes from me being in the closet for so much of my life. I became really good at compartmentalizing and focusing on the task at hand. I always had so many distractions because I was always fearful of being found out or saying the wrong thing,' said Kenworthy.
'I would have to not let it get to me if someone said the judging was "gay" or whatever. I felt like I was just lying to everyone. I wasn't being authentic, and I feel like it showed in so many ways, even my posture.'
He then added: 'I've seen photos since I've come out and I think, "Oh my god, look how happy I look." And it's not even that I'm smiling; there's something there, a twinkle in the eye that looks like I'm genuinely happy.
Nailed it: Julian Edelman proved himself to a pro poser in his vast portfolio of nude shots
Bang: The Patriots star shot his spread in New Yrk City back in April of this year
All clear: Edelman landed the cover five years after Rob Gronkowski's famous Body issue debut
Meat sweats: Edelman no doubt got a few pointers from his model pal Gisele and model ex Adriana Lima
Among the other notable names who are baring all on the pages and cover of 'ESPN The Magazine' are tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and .
Boston boys Isaiah Thomas and Julian Edelman are also featured in the pages of this year's magazine, with the Celtics point guard flashing some crack as he bares his bum and the Patriots wide receiver flashing everything as he eats a cheeseburger in the nude.
No one however flashes more than Javier Baez however, with the Chicago Cubs infielder and recent World Series champ showing he has no problem taking it all off, and then enjoying some batting practice.
The ninth annual edition of the magazine will hit newsstands nationwide on July 7.
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz and his US women's soccer team wife Julie, and 2016 WNBA MVP Nneka Ogwumike of the Los Angeles Sparks are also making appearances in the upcoming issue.
They are joined by Brianna Decker, Kacey Bellamy, Meghan Duggan, Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson, Monique Lamoureux-Morando and Alex Rigsby of the US women's hockey team.

Balls to the wall: In his interview, the 28-year-old speaks about how his 5 ft 10 ins. height has never stopped him from believing he could be one of the best point guards ever (Thomas above)
Wozza: Caroline Wozniacki showed off her enviable physique on a blue-hued cover
Perfect form: Wozniacki also flashed her bare bum while firing off serves in the pages of the magazine
The list is rounded out by pro softball player A.J. Andrews, rugby center Malakai Fekitoa of the All Blacks, figure skater and Olympic bronze medalist Ashley Wagner, MMA fighter Michelle Waterson, adaptive snowboarder/mountaineer and retired Marine Corps sergeant Kirstie Ennis, and four-time Olympic track and field medalist Novlene Williams-Mills of Jamaica.
Williams-Mills is the first breast cancer survivor to appear in the issue.
Thomas landed a spot on one of the three covers of the magazine released on Monday.
The image shows Thomas' bare back and then his bare crack before the photo is cut off halfway down the two-time NBA All Stars buttocks.
In another photo he faces the camera head on, with nothing but a kelly green sweatband on his head, a few of his trademark wristbands on one wrist, and an orange basketball covering his manhood.
Thomas' torso was also somewhat obscured due to the extensive collection of tattoos the 28-year-old has covering his upper body.
In his accompanying interview with ESPN The Magazine, Thomas talks about his biggest and perhaps only real shortcoming on the court - his height.
'Damon Stoudamire was one of my favorite players growing up; he was 5-10 and a left-handed guy like me, and I definitely tried to pattern my game after him,' said the 5 ft. 10 ins. Thomas.
'He's someone I definitely looked up to. When I was younger, my teammates and my coach called me Mighty Mouse after him. I got a Mighty Mouse tattoo because of him.'
He went on to say that player like Stoudamire taught him: 'Just be yourself. Whatever you bring to the table, do it at a high level.'
Baring all: Javier Baez, the 24-year-old Chicago Cubs infielder who helped clinch the World Series last year, is completely naked on his cover (above)
Golden glove: Softball star A.J. Andrews heats up the dessert in her shoot with the magazine
Batter up: Andrews put her powerhouse frame on full display in a behind-the-scenes photo
Thomas also said that former 76ers stars Allen Iverson was another inspiration for him growing up, with the 6 ft tall guard getting selected in the first round of the 1996 NBA draft and five years later being named the league MVP.
'I felt like I could relate to because he was smaller, and he's pound for pound the best to ever play, arguably - somebody who changed the game of basketball just by being who he was,' explained Thomas.
'I can relate to that. There was always a doubt in other people's minds: They didn't feel like I could do it, they felt like I was too small, they felt like I wasn't a typical point guard.'
He then added: 'And now, I just laugh at those people. I just make them eat their words. And if people don't believe in me, I make them believers.'
Elliott also got his own cover, which features the running back in full pose with one leg pulled up and a football in his hand as he stands under a waterfall.
The captivating image almost makes it seem as if Elliott and his enormous mass of muscles are about to jump off the pages of the magazine.
And the 21-year-old even turns on his intense gameday stare for the photo, allowing the public to see why defenders have so much trouble covering the young gun, who managed to lead the NFL in rushing yards during his rookie year.
Elliott did admit however to ESPN The Magazine that while the results may look good, and serve him well on the field, workout have never been an enjoyably experience for him - especially during the season.
'You're going into football games and you're just beating your body up. And the next day or the day after, or two days later, you find yourself back in the weight room, and you feel beat up and sore,' explained Elliott.
'And it seems like every step you take is just hell.'
He later admitted however that the weights and the running and the ball carrying were all second nature to him after all these years.
Elliott also some time to speak about his love of hurdling people and crop tops, which he can often be seen wearing on the field and in practice, giving fans a chance to star in awe at his abdomen.
As for the hurdling, it is something that is not coming to an end any time in the near future.
'I think it's one of the most impressive physical feats I'm able to do, being a bigger, physical running back. I don't have the highest vertical, but I think it's more of a mental thing,' said Elliot
