Can we talk about your tattoos? How many have you got, anyway?
I couldn’t actually count, really. How many does a sleeve really count for? My first was my punk guy on my shoulder, which I’d like to build around soon, but haven’t yet picked out anything yet for the job. My favorite is actually my spool and needle on my calf. It reminds me not to throw things away so quickly. Try to mend what I can first before tossing projects or things or relationships aside.
On your fitness Tumblr you mention wanting to add ten pounds a year until you’re 35. What’s the inspiration for that?
It’s always been a fetish of mine since I was younger. I remember watching Batman cartoons and getting really excited when Bane would pump up huge. Ten to twelve pounds a year is a sustainable goal for my body, and I plan on competing and getting into the super-heavyweight division. I couldn’t really explain the drive much more than that.
