One of the best by one of my favorite artists! So, long time a fan here, didn't just on the bandwagon, but even if you did... "all aboard!" My utmost respect to Johnette for this jewel of an album! Grew up with Concrete Blonde, and so many artists have solo careers and fail...this is the opposite of that. Johnette PLEASE come to Santa Fe, NM... have seen you in Denver twice, and think you had our Flamenco Show open for you... I missed that show :(. If not new mexico maybe old mexico? eh? Mariachis and Tequila? LOVE YOU JOHNETTE! One kick a*s human being!

I heve been a fan since Concrete Blonde days. I had not heard anything in awhile an checked in to see what she may have put out recently on a whim and was so glad to have found this! Very raw and real. I put her in the same category as Linda Perry and when she is on point there are very few that can reach the same raw depth of emotion. Love it!

Johnette's sultry voice has been appealing throughout her recordings. As a fan of Concrete Blonde, Pretty & Twisted and anything Johnette has appeared on, I add "Naked Album" to her list of accomplishments. Some of these songs are basic and bare, hence, "Naked" was a perfect choice for the recording title. In their raw and unembellished presentations, these songs cut to the gut. Johnette has given us an offering of sincere expression.

Johnette is a real siren of the stage and was the driving force to Concrete Blonde's lyrical journey

Just those awesome vocals and guitar....Johnette does not disappoint! I've been a fan since Concrete Blonde's first record so I love her with bass and a band behind her but this one exposes her talent, those killer vocals and lyrics! Filled with raw emotion! ....And I LOVE the album cover!

Some nice new eerie tracks, reminiscent of older Concrete Blonde material in places, and surprising in others. Well worth the price and the listen.

Awesome CD.I like every song on it.Favorites are "Here","Jazz on Vinyl", and "The Highway".

one of Johnettes finest albums its raw and just lyrically a masterpiece!

The Beyhive is already buzzing like crazy.
Beyoncé dropped the album cover for her seventh studio album, “Renaissance,” on Thursday.
The 40-year-old mother of three is pictured sitting on top of a celestial, holographic horse with strategically placed materials covering her private parts.
“act i RENAISSANCE 7.29,” she tweeted, to which fans went wild.
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” she captioned the stunning cover on Instagram .
“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are,” she concluded.
One eagle-eyed fan on Twitter quickly noted that the cover seems to be inspired by a painting of noblewoman Lady Godiva from the Renaissance era. Another compared the artwork to Bianca Jagger arriving at Studio 54 on a horse — no surprise, given the house music and disco pastiche on her latest song and Vogue photo shoot .
Other Yoncé enthusiasts were stunned that she even tweeted the announcement, considering the icon hasn’t posted on the platform since 2020.
“BLUE IVY GAVE YOU THE PASSWORD,” one user joked about her Grammy-winning 10-year-old daughter.
Fans quickly sold out the songstress’ four collectible box sets — called “poses” — to go with the album last week. Each box included different variations of T-shirts, posters, collectible packaging and a CD.
Last Friday, the “Get Me Bodied” singer released her first single off the new album, a dance song titled “Break My Soul.”

Selena Gomez revealed she was ashamed after posing naked for one of her album covers.
During the Hollywood Reporter’s Comedy Actress Roundtable, Amy Schumer brought up how the “Only Murders in the Building” star was sexualized at a young age.
“Someone like Selena, who was sexualized at such a young age, but you’ve just rejected that and have really found your own style and your own presence,” Schumer, 41, said. “Because I know they put you through a system and make you feel like this is how you have to do it.”
“It’s really unfair,” the 29-year-old singer and actress responded. “I actually did an album cover and I was really ashamed after I did it.”
Gomez is referencing her 2015 studio album, “Revival.”
“I had to work through those feelings because I realized it was attached to something deeper that was going on,” she told Schumer, who will be starring alongside Gomez in Season 2 of “Only Murders in the Building.”
“It was a choice that I wasn’t necessarily happy that I made, but I think that I’ve done my best, at least I try to be myself,” Gomez said.
“I’m not an overly sexual person,” she added. “Sometimes I like to feel sexy, but that doesn’t mean it’s for somebody else. It can be for me.”
The “Lose You to Love Me” singer was also asked how her former Disney work factors into her current career decisions.
Gomez explained that she started taking control of her life’s narrative once she started getting older since she “didn’t really have a choice” growing up.
“Now I understand that there are certain boundaries that I need to set for myself, and I respect and adore so many people, but I’ve got to do what’s best for me,” she told the Hollywood Reporter.
Season 2 of “ Only Murders in the Building ,” starring Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin, premieres on Hulu on June 28.
