Airdrop-Complete Guide — Thorswap

Thorswap is a multi-chain DEX on Thorchain. It currently supports 20+ different crypto assets across five blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Chain, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin). Users can perform cross-chain swaps seamlessly on Thorswap.

They have recently announced that they would be airdropping 5% of the total $THOR supply of 500,000,000 (~US$10,000,000) to THORSwap community members and THORChain Early adopters.

1.THORSwap community members

The snapshot has already been taken for eligible members.

2. THORChain Early adopters.

Snapshot will be taken in the near future of all historic:

•Traders who performed swap using THORSwap interface (Open)

•THORChain liquidity providers to a certain date, regardless of front-end interface (Closed)

•THORName registrants (Closed)

•THORYield Campaign participants #ShareYourYield (Closed)

•Top THORChad Score users (Open)

As of now, we can only perform swaps and obtain some THORChad score. Other actions such as providing liquidity or getting a THORName is still unavailable. (Probably will be reopened later.)

Follow the steps below to be eligible for the airdrop.

Getting started:

First get your XDEFI wallet at https://www.xdefi.io/. It is a wallet optimized for Thorchain. Use the code “THORSwap” if needed.

You will need to send some $BNB to your Binance Chain address from Binance. You can leave the MEMO empty.

[Binance Chain address is not the same as your BSC address.]

Step 1:

First join the THORChads DAO. Join their discord server here.

Then go to https://thorchads.com/ and connect your XDEFI wallet. If you cannot connect, set it as your default wallet. (Untick it when you want to use Metamask.)

Click “Prove your Chadness” to see your THORChad score. Your score should be zero at this stage.

Copy your THORChain address. You will need it later.

Step 2:

Now go to https://app.thorswap.finance/ and connect your XDEFI wallet.

Go to “SWAP” and swap some $BNB for $RUNE. Enter your recipient address as the one you copied above. (This is a THORChain address.)

Now you have swapped once in Thorswap for the airdrop eligibility. To obtain THORChad score, we swap some $RUNE back to $BNB.

You will get 20 points after your swap.

Step 3 (Only if you want to get more THORChad Score):

To get some more THORChad score, we can upgrade some $RUNE on Binance Chain to $RUNE on THORChain. (The $RUNE we swapped for before is $RUNE on THORChain. You can see the word “NATIVE” below RUNE.)

Withdraw some $RUNE from Binance to your Binance Chain address.

Upgrade your Binance Chain $RUNE by clicking “Wallet” and then the upgrade button.

Input the amount you want to upgrade and confirm.

You will receive another 35 points for upgrading.
