Ai Yoshikawa is an exorcist girl who is most likely unhappy with her life, even though she does it all on her own. She is a very kind, caring girl, but she can be quite harmful, sometimes she gets very hysterical, or she can start crying during a fight with evil spirits.

After she completely exorcises evil spirits, she has a feeling of pity for them, which does not quite suit the elder Minamoto.

 She doesn't have much taste in clothes, and she doesn't care about her appearance, even though she is very often told that she is beautiful.

 She doesn't like to be told about her parents, who in fact she "doesn't have" in her life. Ai moved to live in another house, so to speak, not to interfere with their drinking and having fun. To her parents, she's just trash. ((She provides for herself)).

Ai grew up at the age of 5, realizing that her parents would no longer pay attention to her, because, since birth, she was practically raised only by her grandmother, but her mother always said that her grandmother was just babysitting so as not to seem like a bad mother.

 Yoshikawa became an exorcist when she became friends with Minamoto Jr., and after that with the elder Minamoto. When she found out that Teru was an exorcist, she had great difficulty persuading her to be accepted as an exorcist too. Ai could see a lot since childhood, because her grandmother was from the family of exorcists. She inherited weak exorcism abilities from her grandmother, but thanks to the elder Minamoto, she was able to develop them. Of course, sometimes she regrets that she asked to become an exorcist at that moment.
