It has finally been taken down. Maybe one of the admins accidentally slipped and pressed the wrong button while furiously masterbating to the sub but I don’t fully know. It has been banned.
It's weird that the chans will remove pedo shit near instantaneously so much but Reddit just leaves up known communities. How long did that sub exist?
Yet r/waterniggas gets banned/quarantined months ago....a sub about drinking water.
It existed for far too long because on the surface it was simply just text content, mostly just how to contact eachother.
There was no outright sharing or sources to outright illegal content, because it was simply text it was a very grey area that reddit didn't seem to want to do anything about. That is what I feel was the main cause for it being up that long.
If reddit really wanted to do something about it, they would have quarantined it similar to how they quarantined all the incest related subreddits. Those were on a grey area between being legal and illegal, so quarantining was the best they could reasonably do. However, for some "strange" reason, APP never had the same treatment. Big thonk time.
Months? That sub is several years old!

The admins were well aware of this subreddit.

That sub was well know for like 2 years and there were several posts made about it in places like subredditcancer and watchreddit die with thousands of upvotes. It's not like the admins just discovered it recently.
What reported dared cover the story? Reddit knew about it and chose not to act. Someone must have drawn extra attention to it. Like when r/jailbait got banned because it made the press.

I guarantee you this wouldn’t have happened if the subs like WRD weren’t constantly bringing it up though. Admins knew they were backed into a corner and only did it to save face
But really, how much was needed before they got banned, while others subreddits take little to no effort?
A lot of the shit on there had content talking about literal toddlers and tweens in sexual situations and it managed to stay up for months without getting taken down. Good thing they stepped up. Some of the shit there was so fucked up. I think I recalled one post about a “child porn star”. Absolute atrocity. I can’t believe it took them so long to ban this sub. This further proves admins are pedophillic monsters.
About damn time, it took them forever but it happened.
