Aether & Iron is an atmospheric narrative adventure set in an alternate 1930s New York, where anti-gravitational aether technology has transformed the city skyline while making its social divisions even deeper. Beneath the glamour of Art Deco towers lies a world of smuggling, corruption, and dangerous power plays, where your choices can shape not only your own fate, but the future of the city itself.

You will dive into the city’s hidden underworld of secret routes, shady deals, powerful bosses, and possible rebellion. Along the way, you can recruit unique companions, follow their personal stories, and rely on their talents both in combat and in tense situations outside of battle. Your decisions matter, and success is never guaranteed — no matter how strong your skills are, one dice roll can change everything.

One of the game’s standout features is its turn-based vehicular combat. Build and upgrade aether-powered cars, customize them to match your playstyle, and equip them with hidden compartments, smoke dispensers, heavier armor, or more aggressive weapons.
