Barrel and Gas System

Using a 20-inch barrel, the .223/5.56 round gains nearly maximum velocity, meaning lighter rounds like 55gr projectiles are as practical or more effective as heavier projectiles in shorter barrels. A good comparison is that shooting a 55gr projectile out of an AR15 barrel under 14.5 inches can have problems penetrating car doors, as 55gr out of a 20-inch barrel can penetrate through level 4 armor plates. The Rifle-length gas system is the longest out of all AR15 gas systems, with many benefits over shorter ones. Firstly, the gas system uses a pinned front sight post as a gas block. This already makes the gas system more durable over non-pinned gas blocks. The Rifle-length gas system is the softest recoiling and smoothest functioning gas system you can ever get.
