Advice for submissive women from God

A submissive wife is one who respects and honors her husband. She is someone who is willing to let her husband take the lead and make decisions for the family. A submissive wife is also someone who is sexual faithful to her husband and is willing to meet his needs.

The Bible has a lot to say about submission and wives. In Ephesians 5:22-24, it says, 'Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.'

This is a clear directive from God that wives are to submit to their husbands. This doesn't mean that wives are to be doormats or that they are to be abused. But it does mean that wives are to respect their husbands and allow them to lead the family.

Another verse that speaks to this issue is 1 Peter 3:1-2. It says, 'Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.'

This verse is telling wives that even if their husbands don't believe in Christianity, they can still be won over by the way they live their lives. When husbands see that their wives are venerating and living pure lives, it will make them want to believe as well.

submissions, therefore, should not be out of obligation but out of reverence for God. In all areas of life, including submission to husbands, wives should look to God and His Word for guidance.
