If you are at a place like this and your a woman be aware that this not your home . Yes guys get aggressive , but if you don't want attention. Then don't come . Like any place in the United States . Giving them at least two stars because they checked ID's for everyone going upstairs to the theater. They also looked like the actual sex store portion was pretty well stocked. However, there was literally no employee upstairs (that at least stood out as an employee) to keep things in check. I was the only female presenting person in that entire building and I did not feel safe. My partner that I was with had to continually tell people to knock it off. We went into a private room and locked the door. The door was continually banged on, knocked, and doorknob jingles like they were continually trying to break in. It did not relent. We were in that building for an hour during the mid-day and I simply did not feel safe. When we attempted to actually go into the theater, I was henceforth surrounded immediately and they didn't even ask for permission or anything before trying to touch. We were thankfully able to get out of the building without being stopped but I'm so thankful I had a person I knew with me. Maybe the vibes are different certain nights, but mid-day during the week is not it. It's so crowded too and just men! Which is fine if that's all your looking for but still! I did not feel safe, the actual upstairs portion was shaded and looked straight out of a horror film, and the vibes were just not it. It looks like some care does go into the presentation and the selection down stairs but please be safe when entering. Bring a friend if possible. Otherwise, maybe think about trying another location.
they do have a movies and toys for sale, they Just need to update the seats and replace the room sofas. the traffic is varied such as men, women, straight, bi & gay. They need to also keep the A/C on in the heat it shouldn't feel hotter inside than out.

So I'd like to update my last review. I stayed away from Lidos for a long time. I recently have been long again, and things seem to be much better. The one heavy set black guy and janitor aren't friendly with me but they do seem less antagonistic towards me. One time my battery dies and the manager asked him to help me and he refused but that's not really his job. A kind man came along and helped me. Anyways I have notice another change in that the place overall has been kept cleaner. And it smells way better. Seems like over all Racheal is trying to take it up a notch. They even have had some cool decorations up on holidays. It's back to being my favorite adult theater. I'm Transgender and since I had my gender marker legally changed I do feel like the staff respects that more. In regards to the other adult establishments lidos is the most accepting of Trans and Cross dressers by far. In fact this is the only one I will go to. Bliss/ Exposed/ Paris/ Amazing should all be black listed and boycotted due to discriminatory policies and harassment in my opinion. The only other one I would got to would be odyssey. The wife and I went for couples night. As a couple only interested in other couples, it's a big let down when there are single guys present. They hang out by the good rooms with TV rented, so they can hold on to the room. Then they're like vultures when any action gets going. The wife does not feel comfortable in this situation. The place would probably be full of like minded couples if it were truly "couples only" upstairs. I'd rather pay the extra cheddar to go to Collette's on Saturday night when it really is "couples only" and a packed house. Until couples night is a real couples night, we won't be back. Anway, I gave it two stars because it's not a bad place. It's just not our cup of tea the way they run it. I'm sure lots of other "couples only" type of couples feel the same way and never return after their first visit.
Workers, African Americans cashier and the janitors allow Black people to stay in cars or smoking weed, (the younger janitor is smoking all the time) without been bothered while White or Hispanic people can't stay outside for a couple of minutes without been asked to go back in or leave

This is a good place to go, but the guy you deal with on weekends is not pleasant! He really needs a serious course in customer service! Just because he works in adult entertainment is no excuse for his belligerent behavior. If he can't courteous he just needs to find another line of of work. Of course it's not all his fault, his boss lets him get away with this stuff, so it's a matter of management oversight gone all wrong.
Update back to this place and it was more exciting this time because some of the same people people with their and we explored more we did more this time than we did the last my girl had a blast so did I good place for the right people go there with an open mind and don't prejudge and enjoy yourself
This is a very nice place to visit if you had some bad fun in a good way Friday and Saturday night. A lot of couples okay single guys if you want to hang someone to your party very discreet my girl and I will be there tonight hope to see you guys there
I've gotten countless messages from curious people. One, I do not live in Dallas anymore so I am NOT there anymore. So. Yes, Lido exists and is real. It's open 24/7. Saturdays is couples night. Downstairs is gay, upstairs is straight, but you will find bisexuals both upstairs and downstairs. When you enter, go into the store & get whatever you need or just go straight to the counter and tell them I'd like to go upstairs / downstairs. It's as simple as that! He's always been really nice to me. (the guy with the ponytail) it has never, ever been dirty to me. I've been to alot of sex clubs and theaters, Lido is by far the cleanest. What happens there? Anything! But you must be respectful. Always, ALWAYS ask permission to touch someone. You can just watch, you can participate after asking permission. I've been Gangb**ged, MFM, FFM, and just been watched as well. It's always in good adult fun. Be respectful, and you'll have fun.
I always have a great time at the theater! Whenever I want to be spoiled, I go at about 10 PM and it's always a blast. Not too many toys for sale, but there are enough. Plus, 1$ condoms! Glad places like this exist for those of us who need a little more ;)
